Your laughter still lingers among these wood paneled walls,
your footsteps echo along the creaking floorboards,
your smile from months ago still makes our garden bloom.Your scent lingers on this couch,
where we used to cuddle every night,
even the windows remember you standing there,
whistling to the summer birds. You left when Spring was leaving,
now Autumn's leaving to,
and I spend days alone in my house,
wishing you were here to.
