You leaned against the wooden railing, breathing the sweet and salty air. You took a deep breath and exhale with a sigh. You could enjoy this peaceful life but at the same time, the peaceful life could be broken at any moment with a blink of an eye.

"Enjoying the air, Miss (Last name)." Gist joined in. The crew was sleeping and a crew at the bird neat was the only one awake. "Indeed I am." You reply him as you let your eyes staring at the night sky. It was clear and you could pin point which star is who.

"Ah, Captain." Gist greeted Shay who was approaching you. "Nice of you to join in." He leaned back and walked towards Shay.

"It sure is." Shay patted Gist's shoulder, signalling he need a moment with you. Gist understood and walked away, probably checking the crew or study the maps.

"Evening, Captain." You teased him. You let Shay snaked his arms around your waist. You soaked the warmth that was emitting from his body heat. Shay gave a sweet short peck at the side of your cheek. "Evening, love. How are you in this fine night?"

"Peaceful and cold." You leaned back, enjoying the warmth. Shay hummed in response. "What are you suggesting, Captain?" You looked up, gazing at the Irish man.

"A night cruise." Shay's chocolate eyes stare at your (eye colour) eyes. "No missions, no war, no injuries. Just you and me. How does that sound?"

"That sound wonderful." You smiled at the idea. Shay was a Templar. Naturally, he was an Assassin but he betrayed because he care. He join the Templar Order to avoid innocents dying from his mistakes when he was an Assassin.

As for you, you know the war between the Assassins and Templars but you are just a spy. Working for somebody else. Not the Assassins nor the Templars. You were the Master of Diguise and an information seeker for both sides. Plus, a skilled Marksmen or should I say, a skilled gunner. Your weapons are different type of guns from the missions you've been.

You met Shay for the first time when you gave information to the Assassins. Shay approach you with stealth but you pin him down with your revolvers. His mission was to get information from you. The Assassins trust you.

The second time you met Shay, you was with Haytham, giving him more information about the Percursor object. Shay tried to killed you when you were alone at the docks. You managed to resolved by telling him your secret. Since then, Shay trusted you more than everyone in the Templar Order.

Besides you had no qualms between the two sides and you prefer to be the neutral side, watching from a far but you already had a side. Your own side and your own principle.

Shay arms are locked and you savour the moment. It was chilly yet peaceful until Shay break it with his voice. "Would you like a night cruise?" Leaning down and whispered.

You shivered at his words and reply, "Yes, sir." You couldn't see Shay but you knew him. So well, in a matter of fact.

Suddenly, a wave of different shades of bright colour illuminate the night sky. You looked up and saw the Aurora Borealis or the Nothern Lights as it lights up the night cruise that Shay had planned.

Shay hugged you and you hug him back. "This is beautiful," You were in awe with the colours that display within the twinkling stars and the black night. Everything was beautiful and don't forget peaceful.

"You are beautiful." Shay commented. Your face become a red cherry tomato. "Shush, you are ruining the moment." You playfully slapped his forearm.

"But love, this is the night cruise you wanted. Right?" Shay pouted, gently rubbing his cheek to yours. You pushed his face away because you enjoy the Aurora Borealis and Shay was ruining it. You heard Shay sighed in defeat.

"You ask for it." With that, Shay let go of his arm and decided to carry you over his shoulder. "Wha?!!!" You shrieked in surprise. Shay chuckled at your reaction. "Cormac, put me down or so help me!"

"Be quiet, love." Shay snickered. "The crew are sleeping and we best not wake them up in this ungodly hour." You decided to punch his back but damn, its hard and stiff. Like a tree. You slumped your head as Shay carried you like a sack of potato.

You noticed that Shay enter his cabin and Gist wasn't there. Must be with the crew, you thought before you were thrown to the bed. You relaxed at the soft and silkyness of the blanket. "Can we sleep? I'm tired." You yawn.

"You can't fool me, love." Shay crawl to the bed and hovered on top of you. He had pinned you to the bed, right exactly he wanted. "You know what I want."

"Then, get it. If you can, Captain." You smirked as Shay leaned in and kiss your lips. And the night went on. With you and Shay, on the bed, doing the 'night cruise'.

My, what a night for the both of you.
