Somethings not right || part 2

As I opened my eyes I looked around the dark dingy room. "Where am I" I thought to myself. I looked down to my arm to see I was hooked up to some machine. "Oh no" I said.

"I see you're awake" I heard the familiar sleepy voice say. I look to my right to see Derek sat in the chair.

"Yeah" I said awkwardly rubbing my eyes. "What happened"

"Well we were getting coffee and you said you needed air so you stood up and just collapsed" he explained. "Why didn't you tell me" he held my hand

"Tell you about what" I asked playing dumb

"C'mon Margo everyone noticed you were getting thinner we all thought it was from the training you were doing with me. You promised me you were still eating" he pleaded with tears forming in his eyes

"Derek I- I didn't tell you because I was scared" I said sobbing. "I was scared you were going to leave me. I was scared my friends would abandon me. I was scared it was going to hurt you"

"It hurt me that you didn't tell me" he leaned back in the chair. "But you know what would have hurt me more?" He questioned

"No" I whispered

"Loosing you. Margo you're all I have left I can't loose you. You don't realise how much you mean to me. I would kill for you if you wanted me too. I would jump of a cliff for you. I would do anything in my power to make you happy" tears streamed down his face. "I just don't know what you want me to do anymore"

"Help me" I cried as I held his hand tighter. Just at that moment Dr.McCall walked in.

"Right Margo were going to help you ok" she smiled it was like she had just heard the conversation me and Derek had. "We've arranged you to go to a clinic so they can check your weight every week and give you more information about this illness" she weakly smiled. "Oh and a taxi will be arranged to pick you up and drop you off at your house so they make sure you definitely go"

"Thank you" I smiled as she exited the room

Derek leaned on my bed as I led facing him. He was gently stroking my hair which was sending me to sleep again. "I love you so much margs don't you ever forget that" he kissed my forehead before I shut my eyes one last time.
