Hey I'm Sirena,I'm from  Mako Island.I'm a southern mermaid.My Mom is  one of the most powerful mermaids and also the  the prettiest.My sisters Lilly a sweet,fun-loving mermaid  and Aqua a sneaky,smart mermaid.

We merpeople have  greyish skins and long, soft,golden, hair which is 30 inches long. Our  eyes are hazel, eyes.Behind our pinkish lips lay two rows of sharp teeth,used to rip or prey apart.

Our hands are soft and  the color of our nails change,depending on our mood.We have powerful tails covered in glistening scales of silver,blue,gold,pink,black,white,purple or even a mixture of all.

We  merpeople have the power to swim at a speed of 600 km/h,move water without touching it as well as expand it and mold it into different shapes,create ice as well as create and control blizzards and snowfalls,heat and boil water(I t can create so much heat and dryness it can dehydrate people and start  a fire),turn water into a jelly-like substance( After a short time however this power has been shown to wear off as the water reverts back to it's liquid state),turn water to a solid sate(Without freezing it),control wind currents,invisibility(Ever wonder why people could hardly see sightings of us,unless we wanted to be seen?),freeze water and one of my fav. Siren Singing.

We are famous for our beautiful voices,which will get male land-dwellers to do anything.

We were taught from a very young age to never trust mermens.

"Sirena!"Ondina shouted ,from behind the seaweeds of where I was  waiting on Ondina  to meet me where we would take our  morning swim.

"Hi"Ondina said,frightening me from behind. We then gave each other our  friendly,warm hug.

"Let's go swimming through the reef."I said.

"I don't see why not?"She said, smiling  and followed me behind.

Ondina is my BFF (Best Fish Forever),I've known her ever since we were hatchlings.Her family is great,I love to go hunting with my family and hers together.behind

 We swam about our usual speed of  600km/h.While our beautifully,long flowing hair  follow behind  of us.

We then swam up to sit on a rock, then do what we mermaids are famous for,combing our long,soft hair.

"So....about that land-dweller guy we saw yesterday"I said,hoping she would continue the topic,than changing it.

"He is pretty cute isn't he,if only I could get just a little closer to him to..."Ondina said,without finishing her sentence.

"To put him under your spell huh,you little"I said,as we both laughed splashing each other with our long,shimmering,tails.

We then went back into the water and headed to our pod,which featured two other girls.Marina,is an     adventurous and fun-loving to the extent that she sometimes gets herself in trouble, acting before she thinks. Lyla a confident,reckless , mermaid and has a problem listening to anyone who doesn't agree with her.

While Ondina and I were heading to our pod,we swam into the mermaid council,who gave us the news that we were gonna go on land in disguise to find a missing Moon Ring.

"It's also Marina and Lyla apart of the task,so you mermaids should be aware of this.You'll be leaving in the noon."

  "So soon."I said,shocked.
