Ok. I'm starting a challenge. If I tag you, you have to do research on cats claws and how and why they need to keep them, and then you have to post in your book with the title #PAWSKEEPCLAWS. TOGETHER WE CAN STOP DECLAWING CATS! WHOS WITH ME?!

Cats need their claws. They scratch, sure, but they need them. What if your domestic cat got out of your house while you were gone? They would have no defense except their teeth to help them. Cats depend on their claws. When you declaw cats, you not only take out their claws, but the tips of their paws and part of their bone, too. Is your furniture and belonging really more important then your cats life? When you declaw a cat, they no longer have balance. Their claws keep their balance on their paws. When they don't have balance anymore, they can't stand right; leading to them walking on their ankles. You think about how much it would hurt having the tip of your fingers cut off, along with your fingernails, and you having to walk on your ankles for the rest of your life. You know how you make cats not scratch? Get a scratching post. Get more than one scratching post. Put them on their favorite spots, and let them get used to it. You know what else you can do? Get them paw covers. But don't keep them on 24/7, let them have some freedom, too. Together, if we come up with reasons for why declawing should be illegal, we can stop it. Together, if we unite, we can stop it. Let's unite and help the helpless with all we've got!
