Just Friends?

Chapter 1

*Jesse Pov*
    Have you ever had a secret you didn't want to tell your best friend? Well... I do. Let me introduce myself. My name is Jesse Scott and I'm 17 years old. My mother is 44 years old and my father 48. I have 2 brothers named Luke and Daniel. My parents are divorced and they have been for 6 years.
   Today is the day I made my mind out to come clean. I am a lesbian. Yes, that's right lesbian. I've hid this for 6 years now. I always knew I was but I was afraid that people would judge me. The person I'm going to first is my best friend Mirya. Mirya is 18 and goes to Rogers the same school as me. She has long brown hair with almond eyes. We have been through everything. The thick and the thin. Well I'll just see how she'll handle this.

*Daniel POV*
    "Come on, Jesse you can't be in there forever!" Luke calls banging on the bathroom door. "Shut up will ya, I'm coming out" she shouts. "Told you, girls don't like to be rushed" I snicker. "Oh and how would you know from that little French girl?" Luke cracks. I blushed just thinking about her. "Ahaha" I say dryly. Finally, Jesse comes out the bathroom fixing her hair. "FINALLY" Luke praises. "Be quiet. I heard y'all talking about Michelle"she says bucking her eyes at me. "I told you y'all goals" Luke says. I roll my eyes. I hate being the oldest out of the three. "Come on off to school, you go" I say grabbing my keys off the counter.
   They walk out and I walk behind them and shut the door behind me. I drive them to school every morning before I go to work. "So Jess, when you gonna graduate again?" I ask her. "June 13th" she recalls. "Okay" I say pulling up to their school. "Bye Jesse bye Luke have a good day" I wave as they leave the car and shut the doors behind them. "See ya big bro" they smile. I drive off and go to Jeep.

*Luke POV*
     We walk in the breakfast room. I sit by my girlfriend Vanessa. Vanessa is 15, a year younger than I am. She has hot red hair, these pink and teal braces and the most adorable freckles and geek glasses. She's too cute. "Hi baby" I say to her. "Heyy boo" she says giving me a kiss. "Awww" Jesse says.
  "Y'all goals" Mirya says. "Exactly! Y'all should enter for prom queen and king" Jesse agrees. "That's not a bad idea" I tell vanessa . "yeah we could win" she smiles. "But how was your weekend?"Mirya asks us. "It was okay I guess, I went skating" Vanessa says. "Mine was okay, did some thinking" Jesse says eating some eggs. "Oh about??" Mirya asks. "Something I have to tell you" she says. "Okay" 
   The bell rung and we got to our lockers and got situated.

*Mirya POV*
    I pull Jesse aside and look her in the eyes. "Wassup?" I ask her. "I'm.... a lesbian" she confesses. "What, why haven't you told me sooner?" I ask. "I was scared, I didn't want to be judged. There is too many people being judged because they gay" she explains. "They not going judge you as long as I'm around. You're my best friend and I'll love you no matter what" I tell her. She opens her arms and I hugged her.
   "I mean it" I tell her breaking off the hug. "I know" she smiles. We walk to class and sit in our seats. I looked at Jesse. She sat upright with a smile on her face She had confidence, she was free of that luggage she carried on her back for years. She looked different and better. This was the Jesse Scott I'd like to see.
