Trinity's P.O.V.
"I don't like him," looking over at Kat who just rolled her eyes at me, giving me one of those give me a break looks. "don't roll your eyes. There is something up with him," I told her pointing a finger at her before tossing a dagger at a target sign on a wooden pole "Drake is hiding something."
"And how do you figure that," Kat asks curiously raising an eyebrow at me "those three were betas they could have killed us both if Drake didn't show up when he did."
"That guy was using his true eyes and Drake's roar knock him out of it," replaying the scene of how that guy was force out from using his true eyes. How the roar wash over me with waves of power "even alphas has trouble knocking a werewolf out of using their true eyes," I told her in fact, it was something that take skills and strength.
"Well, he's not an alpha," she points out handing me a paper with her family household seal on it "I borrow this from my father's office, I wanted you to show you his papers. From what the paper says he's a beta with a huge bank account, something the pack can use. His girlfriend, Luna checked out too. The only things I can say about him is that his past is foggy."
"Meaning?"
"He traveled a lot before coming here and meeting Luna," tucking her hair behind her ear. I could tell she knew something was up with Drake too "the pack contacted the packs in the areas he traveled in and no one have heard or seen him," she whispered narrowing her eyes at me. "I don't know how he travel so easy without any run ins with any packs. Normally pack less werewolves are easy notice but he slips under the radar."
"So kick him out!"
"Like I said he have money and he haven't done anything wrong." She went on to said taking a deep breath before turning to face me "you should be more worried about your part. "
"Me?" tossing a few more daggers at the target "what the hell I do?" I asked.
"You stop an attack before it ever happen," she said as if it was hard to believe. "the only reason they are overlooking this is because I was there. Luckily Drake didn't mention that you nearly past out before running off after those betas."
"You didn't say anything about the mark?" I asked looking around the area making sure no one is around. "I'm not trying to deal with that drama."
"Of course not," she laughs handing me another dagger "you are not the type to be tied down and do as you are told."
"Well at least you are right about that."
"Anyway we will be training him, his girlfriend, and two others," she said pointing to the group coming into the clearing. "we need to go over their fighting skills."
I look over at Kat to see her sticking out her tongue at me.
"no wonder you wanted me to help you today," I gasped trying to act as shock as I could. Even though I was shock as hell "why I have to help see if they can fight."
"Our skills are more than good," said the girl with her arms wrapped around Drake's waist. "In fact I don't think we should be fighting against kids."
"Kids?" I repeated feeling my right eyebrow rising "what makes you so sure kids can't keep up with you?"
"Well, you two not even betas," she said with a smile letting go of Drake waist to cross her arms over her chest "and my Drake had to save and carry you back to the pack grounds."
"Trinity, just let it go," Kat said in a low tone as I walk off cursing under my breath, mainly about that bitch of girlfriend Drake had. "I don't- "
