Chapter Two

Lynnellas' POV
"Okay"
"Don't worry we won't hurt you no matter what my associate says" he says.
"Ok what do you want to know" I ask.
"I would like to know what you are" he asks. "What do you mean what I am" I ask.
"I mean your powers that you have"
"Oh ok I understand well I am a mutant" I explain.
"A mutant" the tall guy asks.
"Yes"
"How are you a mutant" the tall guy asks again. "I mean I am a mutant" I explain a little angrily.
"So then you have abilities" Phil asks
"Yes"

"That is a little bit weird and dangerous" the tall guy says.
"What do you mean" I ask
"I mean that if you wanted you could abuse your power and become evil and hurt people" he says.
"But I don't want to hurt people".
"How can we be sure of that".
"Well I haven't hurt anyone yet have I" I ask. "Well no I guess you haven't hurt anyone but you still could".
You are right I could hurt people but I don't want to". I say
"That is besides the point Ward" Phil says
"Yes sir" Ward replies.
"Now Lynnella I would like to ask you a couple of questions" he says.
"Okay"

"How long have you had your powers"
"I was born with them" I say.
"How were you born with them" Ward asks. "Well I got them from my dad because the x gene comes from the dad."
"That doesn't make any sense"
"How does it not make sense" I ask.
"Well it seems kind of weird that only you have these so called abilities" he says .
"I am not the only mutant out there I mean Wolverine works with the Avengers".
"I mean it is weird that only you can copy powers."
Well every mutant is different, and  I guess it makes me special then".

"I wouldn't call you special".
"Why not" I ask
"You just don't seem that special to me" Ward says.
"Well talk to professor Xavier and discuss it with him".
"You know professor Xavier?" Phil asks
"Yes he is a friend/teacher of mine, I'm lucky that he got to me before any else did" I explain. "Okay well we should take this discussion elsewhere" says Phil.
"Okay are we almost there" Ward says into what I thought was a com. I didn't hear a reply but when Ward said yes then I assumed that we were.
