LIAM'S P.O.V.

Scott and I were walking to the lacrosse field to get in some extra practice when we noticed Coach Finstock was there.

"Coach, what are you doing here ?" Scott asked

"Ah, Dunbar and McCall. I'm just trying out the new kid." Coach replied

"When did we get a new kid?" I asked

"Kid moved here last week, but hasn't had the time to try out for any sports yet. Came to me this morning and asked, so I said yes and now that's what I'm doing." Coach said

"I thought the team was full." I said

"We lost a few players when all that weird stuff happened, so we need all the help we can get." Coach said

"Will this kid jeopardize my spot as captain?" Scott asked

"Definitely. The kid might be the very first freshman captain." Coach said walking away.

Scott stood shocked.

"I can't let a freshman take captain." He said

"We'll have to see, Scott." I told him as we were walking over to the bench.

We put our gear on and watched the new kid play. For coach to consider this kid captain, he'd have to be way better than Scott. As the kid was scoring, not a ball missed the net.

"McCall!! Over here!" Coach yelled.

Scott ran over to coach to see what he wanted and if I'm correct Scott is about to test this kid. Scott stood in front of the kid. They school hands, then started playing. All that I saw was a ball in the net. Scott never even moved. Coach ran over to the new brat and practically praised him.

"Scott, what the he'll was that?" I asked as he came over and sat down

"I don't know." He replied

We continued to talk about what happened when the new brat walked up to us.

"Hey, sorry about that, but if your captain, your supposed to move to play." The kid said.

"Excuse me, but who are you?" I asked

The new kid removes his helmet to reveal long hair that fell to the butt. It was a girl, but not any girl. It was
Y/N.

"Y/N?" I asked

"Yea. How do you know my name?" She asked.

How can she not remember me?

"Its me, Liam Dunbar. We dated in 8th grade, but broke up due to the fact that I was moving." I explained.

"Sorry, I still don't know you, but nice to meet you." She said walking over to coach

I can't believe she doesn't remember me.

Y/N's P.O.V

I remembered Liam just fine. It just pained Me to see him. I cried for two weeks straight when I found out he moved away.
I was talking to coach about my try out when he asked me to be captain.

"Your way better than the guys on the team. Your even better than Scott, the captain. He has been slacking off lately and I don't want a captain who slacks." Coach said

"I don't know, Coach." I said scared

"Please, this team could use someone like you as captain." He said

"I guess I can be captain, but what about Scott?"

"He will be a regular player." Coach said

"Fine, I'll take up being captain." I said

"Thank you so much. Here's the playbook. Look over it for next week's game." Coach said handing me a big red binder.

"Yes, Coach." I said as he walked off.

I can't believe I'm the first freshman captain. I replaced a senior. I stayed on the field for some extra practice. Just because I'm captain doesn't mean I don't practice. I was just scoring the lacrosse balls in the net when Liam walked up to me.

"Hey." He said flinging a ball into the net.

"Hello." I replied

We each took half of the field and practiced. It was quiet other than the balls hitting the net. It continued on until Liam came up to me. Again.

"Y/N, I know you remember me." He said turning me around

"I really don't know who you are other than a kid who won't leave me alone." I said flashing my red eyes

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that I'm an Alpha.

"You do know me." Liam said flashing his yellow eyes.

Oh, wow. When did he become a beta?

"No I don't. Now just---

I was cut off by his lips crashing into mine. Oh, how I missed this. I dropped my lacrosse stick and wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist bringing me closer. Our lips felt so amazing together. It felt just like old times.
We pulled away smiling and breathless.

"Now tell me you that you don't remember me. Cause if you don't, you wouldn't have kissed back." He said leaning his forehead against mine.

I giggled.

"I said that because it hurt me to see you." I said looking down

"Look at me." Liam said as he lifted up my chin up with us hand.

"I miss you , Liam." I said as a tear rolled down.

"Don't cry and I miss you, too." He said wiping the tear away.

We just stood there holding each other.

"Will you be mine? Again?" Liam asked looking into my eyes.

"Yes." I replied kissing him again.

Liam pulled away and smiled.

"I'm so glad your mine again." Liam said

"Same here, but why didn't you tell me you were moving away?" I asked him

"I couldn't go thought the pain." He replied

"Well, it's behind us now. We are here together and I hope it's forever this time." I said as we walked off the field.
