chapter three

"bzzzzt. bzzzt. bzzzzzt. bzzzt."
my alarm goes off. wow. i had to wake up. my agenda today is to go to dan's house and talk to his parents about the rent.

i havent felt anything odd with my parents death. probably its because im used to wake up and go to school without seeing any of them.

i changed to my casual clothes and walked sleepingly towards the bathroom to brush my teeth and to wash my face to freshen up. i got down to the living room and the stain of my parents blood is still inked in the carpet. what a lovely thing to wake up to. i walked towards the kitchen to get breakfast and i still saw blood. i lost my appetite and went down to the front door to talk with the howell's.

i didn't told them i was arriving but it was 10:30 am so probably they're awake. i knocked on the front door and for a while i waited. i was about to leave the front door and suddenly someone opened the door.

"for fuck sake! you woke me up! we don't solici- oh phil! good morning!" he thought i was soliciting. wow. he probably didn't see me because he was rubbing he's eyes while talking.
"hi dan! did i woke you up? im sorry. i should've told you that i was coming. you can go back to sleep. i'll just visit some other time. see y-"
"no phil. im sorry about saying about those harsh words. please come in."

damn. he's so hot.

"i'll just wake up my pare-" i cut his words. "no dan. don't wake up your parents they'll sleeping and i bet they're tired from work." i told him.
"yep. good idea. you can stay at my room." dan told me. "how are we going to go upstairs? i can't see a flight of stairs? don't tell me you have an elevator!" i joked him. "hehe. nope. the door beside the kitchen is the stairs." he pointed. "wow secret staircase eh." we walked towards the stairs and it was glass! fancy as fuck.
"wow dan. glass staircase. your rich as fuck." he just giggled.

his bedroom was the farthest room in the second floor. it was on the end of the floor. there were like 6 rooms before his room.

his room was gigantic! it was the size of my living room! he has ps1, ps2,ps3,ps4 ,xbox 360 and xbox one! woah. he has every game of every console! he has a collection of doctor who dvds and sherlock! and buffy the vampire slayer! o my god and a signed book and poster! i love him already. and and a cupboard for the all of his dvd's. he has a small room for all anime stuff like death note novels and a death note notebook. he has an old piano near the door. beside his bed was a caricature of him and justin bieber. and a stuff bear with a lampshade on its head. his bed cover was definitely like an ikea bed cover. it was black,white and grey checkered. just like mine but a different color.

"you're room is so big!" i told him.
"yep. its pretty big but i made the most of it. wanna play mario kart?" i nodded excitedly.

after a few minutes someone knocked on the door.

"honey. breakfast is ready." a young woman told dan.
"okay. we'll be there in a moment." dan responded.

is that his girlfriend? i was pretty jealous.

we got downstairs to go to the kitchen.
i saw the young woman cooking pancakes. it smells delightful.

"good morning dan. oh seems like you brought a friend with you today."
she told dan. "oh mum. this is phil. he wants to rent the room beside mine because his parent just died yesterday."

MUM? THAT WAS HIS MUM? O MY GOD I CAN'T RIGHT NOW.

"oh yes. miss howell. i am phil lester and i would like to live in the spare room that you want to be rented. i can pay for £50 if that's okay wi-"
"no phil. we talked about this only £15." dan told me. "yes phil. dan's right. you're still studying. if you want, i will not let you pay. you could live here for free." i was shocked. "no no no miss howell i could pay. i could be burden for your family. i will pa-"
"phil. mum's right. you will not pay. you are totally not a burden to my family." he grinned.
"thank you miss howell for your kindness." she just replied with a smile.
