Chapter 28: A Trustworthy Deal. In the Eyes of a Maiden
In his arms I felt week, 'I love you.' I whispered slowly, stating this fact I felt heavier. But through the glass door was the other. I love him too, I love them both. How do I choose one? I have to. I'm making the other miserable. I cringe my forehead, folding myself into him as the other watches. What do I do?
"Asuka." A deep, sultry voice sounded a gong. I open my eyes, eyelashes feeling heavy as if butterflies had landed upon my eyelids. "Zoro, I love you." His face looked sublime, his eyes relaxed. "I love you too," "how long have I been asleep?" I queried, I felt sticky and hot - in desperate need of the salty air. "Only about five hours," "that's not so bad, let's go onto the deck."
Venturing outside I saw the smiling faces of my crew mates. "You did it Asuka!" Cried Luffy with a giggle. "Good job sis! Everyone is suuuuuper proud!" Franky chugged some cola down. Some things will never change, thank god. These are my friends, the never changing constant in my life. Zoro, he's just bloody fantastic isn't he? How'd that even happen... I don't know. But when all is said and done he will always be there to back me up; keep me strong and ready for anything. I love him.
"I think, I should see my son." I announce at lunch, the table goes quiet. Only the sound of Luffy munching was present. "Okay!" Luffy says stuffing Sea King into his giant mouth. "How... Are you proposing to do this..?" Zoro said monotonously, I turned to Jinbei with a sigh. "I am already in your debt Jinbei-san, but I have one last favour." Looking down at my hands, my caramel tanned hands, with Kid we must've seemed like crème brûlée; then we cracked. "Asuka-san, are you asking what I think?" "Please!" I looked up at the blue fish man with teary eyes. "I cannot leave the Sunny-go! But I must, I must see my son!" More tears spilled from my eyes as my comrades watched me, please look away everyone... "I will bring you your son, but when I call upon a favour it must be returned." And so the deal was tied, we performed a ceremony of sake and matcha tea to bind our promise.
"Jinbei, please bring him to me." "I will Water Wielder, I will." So Jinbei set off, in search for Asuka's son.
I cannot promise when I'll be back but know I will bring him safely at all costs.
"Asuka," Zoro stroked my arm as we lay in the observation room. "Yes?" I asked distractedly, thinking about the journey my little one was about to begin. "I love you," he pressed his lips against my shoulder, "I love you..." I breathed out in what would be relief. Relief of the greatest kind, I am extremely lucky to have this person... My life, heart and soul. He may be a bit rough around the edges but he is loyal, loving and strong. Mentally and physically. "You make me feel, light, like I'm walking a millimetre above the ground." I said wishing for him to kiss my mouth, for at the moment he was placing light tingly little brushes against my arm. "According to physics nothing really touches, so I guess your not far off." He chuckled, but I drowned. "That makes me feel sad, to think we're not touching right now. I want to be completely touching." We sat quite for a split second before Zoro moved his strong body over mine and pushed against me causing me to gasp. "Is this close enough?" "Yes..." I gasped as he kissed my neck, pushing my aquatic locks away from my skin. His lips, warm, hot and inviting led me into a dizzy state of in and out of conscious. I believe this feeling is known as bliss. Ah bliss, so blissfully hot...
In my eyes he will always be strong, in my eyes he will always be sexy. Especially now."Zoro..." "Yes?" He looked up from kissing my neck. "I love you," I said quietly and he smiled modestly, even though I could see the red in his cheeks like when he drinks too much sakè. "I love you too." "Let's explore, love and live along side each other okay?" I said as he nudged himself into my chest. "Of course Asuka, of course."
