Chapter 17: A Very Piratey Christmas! Moa's Glass Sword!

Asuka's POV

"Oi minna! Where does this go?" "On the top! You're two short though," I glowered at Usopp and looked at the big sparkley star in my hands.

It's Christmas Eve and we started to decorate the library (the place Nami chose for the center of celebrations) we brought decorations from the first island we stopped at yesterday.

Sanji and Zoro even brought back a huge pine tree whilst Brook and I were in charge of buying sparkly ornaments and things.

Now everyone's pitching in to decorate and make the place more festive, that is most of us.

Zoro is asleep, Luffy is wrapping Sunny's head in tinsel saying that it wanted to feel Christmassy too...

Franky has gone into complete Christmas mode too... He now sports a shiny green and red afro and green and red clothing, he even has baubles hanging from his ears....

"I can so reach it just watch! ROBIN!" She nodded and formed a giant hand, which I stood upon and it stretched upwards so I could reach the top of the tree.

I poked my tongue at Usopp and went to place the star atop the tree in success.

"Thank you Robin!" She winked at me and went back to placing holly and other flowers of festive colour around the room.

Earlier everyone placed wrapped and boxed gifts under the tree, there is a lot of them too since Nami gave us extra on our allowance, she said Christmas bonus... Gee...

At the island I brought gifts for everyone...

Brook: An electric blue pair of sunglasses shaped as lightening bolts.

Nami: A pair of sparkly shoes.

Sanji: A set of special stone pans and pots (which is evidentially the biggest present under the tree right now).

Luffy: Some ahh... Meat... A painting of meat, so he can stare at it even if Sanji wont feed him.

Robin: Two silver fans with a flower print on them.

Franky: A snow globe with a mermaid in it (I know he will appreciate the comedic effect).

Chopper: Some self wrote note on medical practices in Atlantixa.

Usopp: An Atlantixa 38 caliber handgun specially made for under water use it was standard issue in the military authority but I managed to get my hands on one.

And Zoro... I have something for him that I could never give the others, the one of the few things I had in my possession after eating the devil fruit.

Moa was the one merman in the history of Atlantixa to make weapons as a hobby, he left Atlantixa when he was at the end of his life span to die in the above sea world, but before that he made his last piece, the one that remains in every history book of Atlantixa.

The rest of his swords were confiscated by the authorities or taken by my ancestors into hiding and are now in Onalui possession.

Moa is also my ancestor and the sword has been passed down through my mother's family for centuries.

Onalui sensei gave it to me when I was twelve, if I were to disobey orders and swim all the way to the surface (forbidden in Atlantixa unless its summer solstice) I'd always bring it with me in a huge bad with other weapons and possessions.
