The sun and moon are very much like the two people loving me.
One of them is like the sun; he'll keep me happy; elated, even. He is like my escape. He's got me on the edge of my seat because of the thrill of our relationship. He makes me look forward to tomorrow. But just like the sun, there would be times wherein he would hide among the clouds. On times that I want to see him, he won't be there. Sometimes, when I’m with him, I get a little bit too overwhelmed. He would blind me and I look away. He was too bright.
My other one is like the moon. At times my sun would never be there for me—or nighttime, for that matter—he would protect me. Reassure me that everything is alright and he’ll always be there, by my side. He’s my light during darkness. My moon at night. But sometimes, he gets a little overprotective of me. He won’t want me near anyone else, especially not my sun. I admit, I resented him for that.
But just like the sun and the moon, I wouldn’t be able to live without them. I would die of coldness, darkness, despair. I need both of them. At the same time. They balance each other out. Think about it: I need a little sun in my life but the moon keeps my feet on the ground.
After I have accomplished my own, personal eclipse, I’ve learned that,
The sun and moon will never be able to relate and I shouldn’t have tried

Cher
“Bye, Louis. Be safe.” I said as I wiped the tears from my face with the back of my hand.
Louis looked at me sympathetically, lovingly, and enveloped me in a tight bear-hug. He rubbed the back of my head, trying to soothe me while I ruined his white and red stripped shirt with my tears. “Don’t cry, love. I’ll be back before you could even miss me.” He sounded like he was convincing himself more than he was convincing me.
“I’m already missing you.” I whispered against his warm chest.
“Shh.” The sound echoed all around the airport and he continued to rub the back of my head.
I pulled away and said, “Can I ask you a favor?”
“Anything as long as it’s for you.”
I thought for a moment. “It’s for us, actually.” I smiled.
“What is it?” He asked, looking deep into my chocolate eyes while I looked into his blue, Doncaster ones.
I got lost in his eyes so I focused on my favor. “Don’t forget me.”
He did the most unexpected thing. He laughed.
I tilted my head in confusion. “What was funny?”
“Cher, baby, why would I ever forget you? If I had to worry about anything I would worry about you forgetting me.” He pointed to my chest then his.
“You’ll be gone. You’ll be going all around the world. How can I make sure that you won’t forget me?”
He fished something from the pocket of his jeans and gave it to me. It was a gold polished ring with the letters ‘CL’ Then there was a heart then the letters ‘LT’ was engraved on the other side of it.
“This is our promise ring. Do you remember that day when you asked me to make us a ring? Well, sorry it took so long but here it is. This one’s yours.” He got an identical ring from his pocket and got my left hand. He slid the ring through my fourth finger and I gaped at the beauty of it.
I got the ring that I was holding on my right hand and slid it through his fourth finger as well. After I did, he put his hands on either side of my face and kissed my forehead.
Someone cleared their throat and I jumped. “Sorry to bother your private time but Louis, our plane’s waiting for you.” Harry said.
I faced Louis. “Bye, Lou.”
“Bye, Cher. Good luck with your tour.” He said. I was going on tour in two weeks in Asia. They would also be in Asia but we might not see each other. “I… love you.”
I smiled, tears streaming down my eyes. “I love you too, Lou. Bye.”
He smiled at me then faced his back towards me. The five boys: Harry, Niall, Zayn, Liam and Louis, Simon Cowell and a few other people walked away, going to their plane.
Perrie, Zayn’s girlfriend put her arm around my shoulder and cried with me.
They were already five meters away from us until I realized that I couldn’t let Louis go this way so I ran to him and shouted, “Louis, wait!”
He looked back and I slammed into him, hard. I swiftly pulled his face to mine and kissed him. Kissed him, hard.
He was a little bit surprised at first but eventually kissed me back. My lips trembled in his and my tears made our kiss wet.
When we pulled away, he said, “That was our first kiss.” He smiled.
“Yes. Hopefully not our last.” I looked at the faces of the eight people watching us, including Perrie. “You need to go. Bye, Louis. I love you.”
“Bye, CherBear. I love you, too.” And I watched as he took my life with him to the plane.
