I know I don't really write any poetry that isn't dark or gory, but I feel at peace with myself right now. So enjoy this weird part of me I guess.

The sun never leaves us. It is simply out of sight.
It will never leave us.
It gives us peace. To know that something in our lives won't vanish.
Some say it's a new hope. Some say it's the good in the world.
The moon is a tricky thing. Comes out when we begin to grow tired.
Some say it's shy. Some say it's evil.
I say it's beautiful. It will never leave us, just like sun.
It brings me peace. The darkness surrounding me, hiding me from my demons. Even if it's just for a few hours.
The world can break you.
Don't let it break you.
Find peace within it.
