13. The five sisters and me

After a very awkward day at school, I get into Lukas' car and turn the radio dial by myself.

"Are you ready to meet my psychotic family?"
I nod, humming Dangerous woman as it blasts from the speakers.

"I'm gonna throw away my glasses." he says randomly, "bye bye!" he winds down a window and pulls them off of his face, flinging them out onto the road. its not long before another car crushes them.

I just stared at him, horrified! "Oh don't look at me like that, I know you like me better without them!"
So once again, the cute and semi-attractive Lukas is back and my self esteem goes down by 20.

"This is it."

After a while, we pull over in front of a big 3 storey house. It's front porch is about the size of my whole living room and I feel small next to it. "You're house is big!" is all I can say as Lukas leads me to the door.

He unlocks it and calls up to the stairs, "I'm back!"

A girl about my height with the same blonde and slightly curled hair as Lukas appears around the banister. She takes one look at me and squeals, "Oh my, praise the Lord Hallelujah! My baby Bro has a girl in the house! Queue the wedding bells!"
Lukas' face turns scarlet and the girl (who I'm guessing is his sister) runs down the stairs calling, "Charlie! Charlie!"

Another smaller girl with a brown ponytail appears and follows Lukas' sister.

"Um...Eva, this is Adele." Lukas scratches the back of his head and gestures towards the blonde haired one.
"Addie! Just Addie. Hi, welcome to the family!"

I can't help a big smile forming on my face at how friendly she is, "and this is Charlotte but she likes Charlie!" Charlie waves at me and I can tell she's shy.

I follow Lukas into the kitchen and a girl with a long straight-ish mrssy bun, sitting at the table on her phone. Eleanor, I'm guessing.

"Ellie?" Lukas waves a hand in front if her face and she just shoot him away. "if swear it's like she's married to that phone!" he mutters but Ellie turns around angrily, "I heard that!"

And then another little girl walks in, she looks around ten with a long braided ponytail. trailing down her back. "Who's this?"
she smiles sweetly and soon four of the sisters were in front of me, the eldest Ellie and Addie cooing at me. Saying, 'what a lovely couple me and Lukas are!'

it's actually quite cofusing, they all have long blonde hair and model-like features (including Lukas) but they all look different in some way and that's what makes them all attractive. Even the youngest, Lucy and Charlotte were pretty!

"Sooo...Eva, tell me, is Lukas a good kisser?"
I'm about to tell Ellie that we aren't actually dating when the doorbell rings. "I'll get it, Addie screams over everyone, running to get the door.

"Muuuuuummmmm!" everyone squeals as a middle aged last walks through the door, she's pretty, like those mannequin dolls but with plumper cheeks. Another girl follows her into the kitchen, the sister who looks most like her. Grace. Lukas told me to stay away from her.

"Hey, darling," their mum says in an awesome french accent, hugging each of them. She hugs Lukas and then stops at me, "My, what what's beauty, Lukas, darling, is she yours?"

"Mama, this is Eva, my FRIEND!"
All of the sisters nod in realisation except for Grace who hasn't said hello to anyone yet, it's clear that she's the oldest sister and by the way she acts you can tell she I'd the one everyone listens to. "Hi, darlings. Ellie. Adele. Lucy. Charlie. Lukas." She looks me up and down before giving me two air kisses on the cheek.
I already hate her.

After the excitement dies down and the sisters all go to their separate rooms, Lukas and I are left alone with his mum who has removed her burberry jacket to reveal a comfy playsuit.

"Had no one ever told you that you could be a model? The face! The face has it all. You're perfect!"
Lukas whispers to me, "My mum runs all modelling agency."
I nod and let his mum plant kisses all over me.

"Gee, Mrs Hisan." she let's me go and smiles all friendly smile, "No, darling Eva call me Clara!"

She once all gain takes me into a hug and I can see Lukas snickering behind her back. I shoot him an annoyed look and let go of his mum.

"Let's go up to my room, shall we?" and somewhere in the house I hear, "ooh! Lukie has had a girlie in his bedroom!"

Lukas opens the door to a supra singly clean room painted a cerulean blue, it had a a king sized bed and two dresser tops. Cleaner than my bedroom for sure!

We sit on the bed and Lukas picks up a remote control to turn on the flat screen attached to his wall.
"so...your mum is..."
"Crazy? I know."

"No, she's nice but..."
Lukas starts flicking through Netflix, "but she's a nut."

I'm sprites when he a tops at a top St really girly movie so I grab the remote from him and find 'The Conjuring'. He looks scared of me for a second. "But...you're.."
"Amazing and awesome? I know!" I splutter and Lukas starts downloading the movie. "You can be friends with my mum but if she ever asks you to join her agency, which I grantee she will do, then decline immediately. I used to do some child modelling with her and I got bullied for a year from the photo shoot!"
My eyes widen, "And your sisters are pretty...um..."

"Yeah, all nuts! Except Grace but she's just like identical to mum, only she has the personality of a rock on sleeping pills."
I start laughing and pull out my phone to a text from my brother, Tom.

Hey baby sis
I'm coming over to stay for a while this week so I'll see you then!

"Who was that?" Lukas peers at my phone curiously, "My brother. I don't see him much and he's coming to stay for a bit."

I show Lukas his profile picture and his smile drops, "What? Do you know him?"
"Is don't know, Tom?"
I sigh, "That's him."

"Okay." and we don't mention him throughout the rest of the movie.

"Is don't find horror scary, I find it realistic." I say randomly.

"How is horror realistic?"

"You can always relate to them."

Lukas just stares a me in shock like he wasn't expecting this. "So being scared and hunted down by monsters, demons and ghosts is your idea of relatable?"

Wait what?
"No. Of course not! What kind of things do you think I do in my spare time? Geez! Just forget it."

Sooo.... I know this chapter is quite long but I hope it was helpful to introduce all of the sisters and Lukas' household. Sorry for any mistakes.
