Eva POV
after school, i wait around for a little while, hoping today my brother will pick me up. I pull a tuna sandwich out my bag and begin munching it when a flustered Lukas comes to stand next to me. "Hey."
I smile and then turn around. AWKWARD. "Look, Eva im sorry if---"
"You're my best friend Lukas. Don't ever do that again!"
He winced at the word 'friend' and i could tell it hurt.
After while of akwardness, a huge smile spread across his face. "Wanna ride?"

We soon stop at Lukas's house and he invites me in. Charlie s the first to greet me and its cute since she's about four or five. I remember Lukas saying she was adopted but she shares the same good features of the family.
"Im sorry i scared you like that." Lukas starts waking off his jacket and puts it on the banister while i follow him upstairs.
We sit on his bed for a while and listen to music. I've never had someone share my interest in rock like this before.
Itd not long till my brother texts me that he will be picking me up.

We hear a knock at the door but footsteps beat us to it. Grace. Lukas's eldest sister.

Grace's POV
I stare in shock as a familiar yet stubbled fae stares back at me.
Memories good and bad cloud my mind and all i can do is open and close my mouth. For a minute, he seems as confused and shocked as me but his million dollar business smile once again hides his emotion.
"Hi, im here to pick up Eva."
Eva. Lukas's friend. His sister.
Before i call Eva, i narrow my eyes and put my hands on my hips. "So you're just gonna pretend like you don't know me. Tom?"
He just chuckles, "oh sweetheart, forgive and forget. You forgave me, and i forgot you."
"I didn't forgive you."
"And i didn't forget you."
Without permission, Tom steps past me and his lips brush my cheek.
"Baby sis! Eva! We gotta go!"
And there she goes. Running into his arms. She has no idea.
