Floating

Today I don't feel like I'm submerged under water.
My ears aren't clogged.
My lungs aren't bogged
With the weight of the world.

My shoulders are stretched and lean
Today I feel clean.

A strange sense of euphoria as the wind hits my face
And I forget the time, the rhythm and pace.

My head is clear and content.
Today i feel calm.

More words escape my mouth than usual as I work
And I don't feel like dirt.

Today I don't feel like drowning.
I feel like I'm floating on air.
And little but no cares
Fill the gaps in my mind.
