chapter 2 is here, hope you like it... :)

I was only 11...well eleven and 11 months to be exact. I was at home getting ready to attend Tomoya's violin concert which was in an hours time with my little 7 year old sister. I met Tomoya when Misa was only one...that story goes back even further into our past...

I had only just turned 6 years old then. It was a frost morning and I sat on a swing in an old part all alone...my father was busy doing his 'usual' business while my mother was at home taking care of 1 year old Misa. My aunt and uncle both worked with my dad and my cousins and big brother were all in their teens and were still in school.

I swung to and fro...bored. Such a vulnerable little vampire was i. All alone with no one by side to make sure nothing harmed me. Then came along 5 year old Tomoya Akatsuki. She was wearing a warm white coat with a dark blue dress underneath that matched her pretty azure hair and sapphire eyes..she kinda looked like a forget-me-not flower in a dress with a little bag slung over her shoulder and a white bow in her hair.

I didn't bother to look at her or even take notice of her. Why should i even look at such a lower specie? I just sat there staring down at the frozen lake. The morning sunlight glistened on the sparkling surface. She walked close to the lake and she knelt down by the waters edge, looking down at something in the water. I stared at her back for a second but turned away to look at my little yellow shoes. My curiosity got the better of me and i slid of my swing and walked towards her.

Whenever i walked towards a stranger...it ussually ended up with me jumping on that person and attacking them...i was a kid then ok? everything that moved looked like food to me.....anyways.....

I walked up behind her and she must have heard me because she turned to look at me. It was weird to not see fear in her eyes...ussually people take one look at me and run of screaming like lunatics..but they couldn't run..I was as fast as a cheetah, but today was different..she just looked at me with large, round, kind eyes. She should have seen the red glow of mine....but why didn't she run away?

She simply smiled and said, "Hi, what's your name?" I was obviously slightly surprised by this. I zoned out for a bit but immediately came back after a few seconds. "Er....my name is I-ichirou..." She giggled and said, "My name is Tomoya, nice to meet you. " She extended her hand to me, one that i just stared at darkly. She must have realised i was uncomfortable because she turned back to the lake without another word.

"What are you doing?" i asked. "I'm lookin for pearls." She said staring into the water. "Don't be silly, how could you look for pearls by staring at the ice?" i huffed folding my arms. "Look," she said laying her hand on my arm, making me flinch for a second. "Look down there!" she swiped her hand across the ice, wiping off the layer of frost.

The world underneath the ice was beautiful! It glistened and sparkled beneath the cold ice. To think that beneath all that dead, still ice, lived a lively beautiful society of fish and tadpoles and who-knows-whats...i was only 5 ok?  I stared down at the cold water, i was so amazed by all this that i leaned over the ice to stare down. "Hey don't lean so cl-!"

There was a crash of ice as she pulled me back away from the ice and she fell in, in to that wonderful waterworld. I gasped as i realized that waterworld would turn into a one man (or should i say, girl) cemetary. I didn't know why i was so bother by this but i jumped in after her. Luckily the water was shallow and we both managed to get back to the shore.
