Double Alpha Equals Trouble

Chapter 3

'White moon pack,' I said holding my head high and proud, 'we're from the White Moon pack.'

The guy looked surprised for a moment, then he threw his head back and started laughing. He had a weird barking like laugh that echoed through the clearing.

'White Moon, ' he said addressing the rest of his smirking pack, ' we got some White Moons.' 'Now, what shall we do with them?'

Immediately his pack started to scream the most horrible deaths they could imagine for us.

I flinched. They couldn't hurt my friends, I wouldn't allow it!

I struggled to keep my face emotionless and controlled, but I was furious and at the same time somewhat scared.

The guy spoke up again, addressing Jace, forcing me to focus on him rather that the millions of thoughts circling through my head.

'Tell your friends to change back or we'll kill them on the spot.' he said nodding at the three wolves behind us

Jace let out a furious growl, trying to get the guy angry... Bad idea

'Jace,' I snapped at him, 'not helping!'

I had tried to keep the alpha out of my voice.

I'd never liked commanding my friends around, but at times like this it was impossible.

Jace lowered his head in submission and almost mechanically replied with a quiet: ' Yes Alpha.'

I was just about to tell him I didn't mean it like that when I heard a growl.

I slowly turned to face the red eclipse guy.

'Alpha?' he said, 'you are the White Moon Alpha?'

I nod. He looks at me and starts laughing. His pack soon joins in and after a few seconds they are all laughing at me.

I snort in a very ungirlish way. Okay, so I wasn't the typical Alpha, big deal, not that funny according to me.

When they'e done laughing the guy, who's name I still don't know, turns to me again.

He tries to keep his face serious but his lips keep tugging upwards.

He is pretty handsome, a bit bulky. Not really my type but still handsome.

He looked like the kind of guy Alyssa would consider dating. If, off course, he isn't trying to kill her

'So,' he says, ' now tell me the truth, you're a girl, there's no way in hell you're Alpha'

Seriously? This guy just.... ugh, I hate it when people think girls are to weak to be Alpha or Beta or whatever.

I could proudly say that I had won from most if not all the guys from my pack in hand to hand combat, or well... paw to paw.. you know what I mean.

'And why couldn't a girl be Alpha?' I ask him.

'Because,' he says, smirking, 'girls are weak '

He is testing me. Testing how far he can go. When I will snap, but I won't.

So I force a sweet smile on my face.

'Just keep thinking that and you and your enormous ego 'll be fine.'

I smirk at his expression. Priceless, just priceless.

He turns ignoring me and what I said completely.

' We'll take them to the Alpha, Finn 'll handle it.'

Ah, so he wasn't their Alpha...

He turned and spoke, addressing Alyssa, Evie and Lucas this time.

'Turn back, now.'

Lucas growled, not wanting his mate to be all naked in front of half a pack.

'Clothes.' I said translating for him, ' They need clothes.' Like he didn't already know that.

'Well, Sucks to be them.' one of the other Red Eclipse members laughed.  But one look from the guy in front of us and he shut up.

'Jared, get them some clothes.'

The boy, he couldn't be much older that me, nodded. His shoulder length blond hair swinging in front of his eyes

'Yes Beta.' he said and after slightly lowering his head in respect he quickly started waking to the edge of the clearing

The Beta looked after him. Not focusing on me anymore. So I took my chance an lunged at him.
