Student of the Month, its an award that teachers give to their students. For me it's a really big accomplishment. This school year I got two awards from both of my favorite teachers. I will not name them because I don't know if they want their name open to the public across the world. The week I got the first award my choir was going to a competition and we did really good. It was the day before and I was in my geography class when I got the notice to go to a classroom to get my award. It was finally time for me for me to go so I went into the classroom and I saw the principal, at first I thought I was in trouble until he said the we were here because of student of the month. I was thinking to myself that it was either Skill Center or Science. When my name came up and the principal said that it was from Skill Center, When I went up there I was smiling from ear to ear. The whole day I was smiling and so happy for myself. The next class was Skill Center, I came in there saying that this was the best day of my life while waving the award in my hand. After school was over I went to my dad's truck and showed it to him through the window. He was so happy for me, then I posted a picture of it on Facebook saying thank you to my teacher and my dad shared the post. The second time I was actually in my Skill Center class when I got the notice to get something from the same class. I was thinking that it was another student of the month, but I didn't know which teacher it was from. It was time for me to go to the classroom to get my award. The principal was there again. He started calling names for the people who earned the award for them to go up and get the award. Then came the category that my award was in. My name was called and I went up to get the award , I looked at the award and it was from Science. I was so happy for the whole day. The school day ended and I showed my dad the award the same way I did with the first one. Again my dad was so happy. I posted it on Facebook, but my dad didn't share it. The next day I had science second period and so I said thank you for the student of the month. So far high school is amazing.
