America is a country full of freedom and independence. I'm really proud that I live in the country. I went to Washington DC for my 8th grade summer field trip, there I learned more about how awesome America is. I got to see a lot of the memorials, my favorite was Lincoln Memorial. I went to Washington's mansion, it was literally amazing. While I was on the trip I got to meet new friends and I was in a wheelchair and some of the boys on the trip pushed me in the wheelchair. While I was there I realized how amazing America is. This Forth of July will be amazing. When I learn about America's history I picture the soldiers who fought in the war. I'm glad that I live in this country and I am so proud of the people who fought or fighting in war for us. Happy Fourth of July!
