Chapter Nineteen (Zeek's POV)
I had no idea where we were going... Austen told me to just trust him and not to ask any questions... But it was hard!!!
"Please?"
"No, it's a surprise! I told you that already!"
"What if I don't like surprises?" I pouted.
"Then I guess you'll just have to deal with it." He smiled from the driver's seat of his car.
"Grr." I gave him a mean face and watched the trees go by, trying to figure out where we were headed.
"You're not gonna get it. We're going out of town." I attempted to give him another glare, but the yawn that escaped my mouth made it look a little less sincere. "Take a nap. I'll wake you up when we get there." He took my hand in his and kissed my knuckles.
"Fine." I turned toward the window and pouted, still gripping onto his hand. I heard him chuckle as I fell asleep to the sound of him saying "I love you."
Naomi's POV
"Jack..." I said nervously.
"Yes Mimi?" He looked over at me from his seat on the couch.
"Are we gonna tell our parents?" I'd been thinking about it for a while...
"That's up to you. I would love to, but if you aren't ready, I understand." He smiled and took my hand, his chocolately brown eyes shining with love.
"I'm ready too." I returned his smile.
"Good. They're gonna be home soon..." As if on cue I heard the familiar sound of the front door opening. I let go of his hand quickly and prepared myself.
"Guys, we have to tell you something..." Our parents sat down, my mother Anne, and his father Harvey.
"What is it honey?"
"Well... You know how a few years ago, before you guys met, I would always be hanging out with this one girl..." Jack started. His dad scrunched a brow.
"Yes..."
"Well I'm in love with that girl. And she's my girlfriend."
"That's great!!! Who is she?" Jack turned to me and took my hand.
"Naomi... I'm really sorry... I've just liked her for a long time, and I just found out she liked me too... So I went for it. I watched the shock register on their faces, and closed my eyes preparing for the blow. Preparing for us to be separated. I gripped Jack's hand tighter. As if he would just float away at any moment.
Yea.. That sucked didn't it... I'm sorry... I'm still without internet... I'm at the library and they time you... I have thirteen minutes left... Sowwy :( I pwomise I'll get better!!! But there ya goooo <3 Chapter 19!!!
