Olivia's POV:
I was in Tyler's car, currently driving to his house. I rested my head on the closed window thinking... About Hayes.
"Liv?" Tyler asked me.
"Mmh?" I mumbled not looking at him.
"I don't get it, why were you with Hayes?" He asked, pulling into his driveway.
"I already told you, we weren't doing anything bad." I said, now turning to him as the car pulled into his driveway and Tyler parked the car, pulling out the keys.
"Let's just talk about this inside." He said getting out and pulling me into his room and closing the door.
"No one is home, so you can stay the night if you want." He said sitting on the bed. "But tell me, the whole story." He said.
"So I was with Hayes, and I was bored, so we decided to go on a walk, we ended up at the beach, we played some music, and we just enjoyed eachothers company." I said not sitting down with my arms folded over my chest.
"But did you do anything with him, like something that you shouldn't do with anyone other than me?" He said standing up too now.
"No, I swear, we are only friends, I don't like him as anything more." I said putting my hands up in defeat.
"Why don't I believe you Liv!" He said starting to raise his voice.
"Wait a second... Why were you with him in the first place?" He said rudely.
"Well he stayed over because we hung out last ni-" he cut me off,
"GOD DAMNIT OLIVIA!" He shouted at me.
"Why are you screaming at me?!" I raised my voice too.
"Your a fucking slut!" He yelled at me, and I felt tears start to form.
"Tyler, please, listen to me, we didn't do anything!" I said tears starting to come down.
"We're you in the same bed?" He asked sternly pointing a finger at me.
More tears fell and I couldn't find the breath to answer.
"DID HE SLEEP IN YOUR FUCKING BED OLIVIA!" He screamed at me again.
I just nodded, through my tears.
"Damnit..." He said pacing around the room.
"I'm sorry!" I tried to tell him.
"Shut up! Just shut the fuck up!" He yelled and then walked up to me.
"Your such a fucking... A fucking bitch!" He yelled and then his hand flew into the air, and slid across my cheek, causing me to fall to the ground.
"Tyler?..." I said through my tears.
"Oh my god.. Liv I'm sorry." He said coming towards me, but I tried to back away.
"Liv.. I need to tell you something.." He said suddenly serious. I just stared at him waiting for him to respond again. He took a deep breath,
"My dad used to hit my mom..." He said sitting on the floor.
"What?" I asked him, my tears starting to stop.
"Yeah, it's what I grew up knowing, I just never thought I'd do it." He said looking down.
"Forgive me?" He asked with not a tear pricking his eyes, like he almost didn't care, about this whole situation.
"Tyler.. I think I'm gonna need some time.." I said honestly.
"Hey, if you were never with Hayes then I wouldn't have hit you.." He said to me.
"I guess your right..." I said standing up.
"And.. Also because I care about you, and I don't want to see him hurt you again." He said sincerely.
"Thanks Tyler." I said and we hugged it out. "But I think I should get home, I haven't really seen my dad, and we wanted to have dinner tonight." I lied.
I wasn't scared, he had a reason, his dad hit his mom, I mean, he grew up watching that happen, that's so terrible for him. And it was basically my fault for pushing him. But I'm also just tired and want to be on my own tonight... For once.
"Okay, will you call me tomorrow?" He asked.
"Of course." I smiled at him, and left.
I realized I didn't have a ride, I thought about what to do, and I didn't really want to call Hayes, Tyler was right and maybe I should spend less time with him.
I decided to call Sofia.
"Hey Liv, what's up?" She asked me.
"Hey, I'm at Tyler's and I have no ride, can you pick me up?" I asked her.
"Yeah, but why not Tyler?" She Asked.
"Because we kinda had a fight, I mean we made up, but I'd feel uncomfortable, you know?" I said still standing in Tyler's driveway.
"Yeah, but what about Hayes too?" She said.
"He's mad at me too. And can't I just call my best friend?" I laughed.
"Ya, I'm on my way." She laughed through the phone.
"Thanks, see you soon." I said and hung up.
(:|
Sofia took me home, and I am currently sitting on my bed, watching the longest ride. Which is actually, a really emotional movie, I cried about three times already.
It feels good to finally have some me time again. No boys, no school, no drama.
And I still kind of can't believe that Tyler hit me. I feel really bad about his parents, and I hope he will talk to me about it.
I also need to fix things with Hayes, without getting too close.
Maybe I will hang with Sofia one day, tell her about everything, I've missed having a girl to talk to about my problems.
Then I just broke down. Everything is turning for the worse. I'm losing my friends, me and Tyler are fighting. I just need, need a break. I need an escape.
It's so weird how my life has changed this summer, I went from a loser girl who only hung out with her one friend, Sofia, to a girl dating the popular jock, well not officially, and best friends with a vine famous guy. They are so great, but in just me. And yet it's only the beginning.
Hey guys! So this chapter is a little shorter, BUT DRAMAAAAA! So how'd you like it? It will get more 'intense' if ya know what I mean ;) so keep reading! And please share!
