"Ms Mackenzie? Ms Mackenzie!" Mr Schroeder called her, making everyone look at her. Her head shot up and looked at the board. 'Oh shit.'
She thought. She wasn't able to do her studies since she had to do overtime from yesterday's job."Well? What's the answer?" The teacher impatiently asked as he crossed his arms and tapped his foot. Arabella knew that this teacher of 15 years would burn her alive in front of his class. That's what all teacher do, at least, that's what she thought.
"S-Sixty one?" She mumbled her answer.
"Nice try, Ms. Mackenzie. But this is literature class." Mr Schroeder shook his head as he made his way to his desk. "Anyway, class, for the big project, you will be in pairs...."
Of course Arabella wouldn't care to listen. She hated projects because she would always do most of the work. Thump. Something hit her head. A crumpled paper hit her head. She turned around and it was those jerks who had been doing that ever since the 5th grade.
One paper ball hit her head. Now two. Now three.
"Can you guys stop it?!" Arabella raised her voice.
"Ms Mackenzie, I've had enough of your troubles. To the office. Now." The teacher looked deadly at her and immediately made his way to open the door for the troubled lady.
