Chapter 4

ALICE'S P.O.V.

"Hi.My name is Jordan Woods."he held a hand out to shake my hand.

"Alice Grey.Nice to meet you."I returned him with my killer smile.The smile I had put on my face since I was trained.

Whispers filled the air and I felt everyone tensed up.

Mrs.Murphy cleared her throat."Class,the person next to you shall be your new partner for the rest of the year."

There were noticeably lots of groans and frustration while some people were screaming with joy.My eardrums felt like they were going to break soon.

As for me,I didn't really care.Well,that is as long as he doesn't burn the lab.

"Since the teacher said we should choose our partners,I wanna go with Brittney."

"No!I wanna go with Britt!"I said childishly.

"I wanna go with Brittney too...."

Brittney smiled."Then,I'll go Amb."

"Yay!!"

Then,I got paired up with Eli and he burned our science project.

Hope this guy is not the clumsy type I guess.I cringed at the memory.

Second period finished quickly and I was on the way to exchange my books.

"Hit him!"

"Punch him in the stomach!"

I heard lots of people shouting and screaming.Mostly just shouting "fight him!"

Gosh.What is with all the ruckus.

Great.They are fighting right infront my locker.What's next?

Wait.Isn't that.....Chase?

I looked closely and saw Jordan getting kicked by Chase in the abdomen while spitting blood onto the once sparkly bright floor.

Wait a second,if Chase is kicking.......

"Babe?"

A man about as tall as Eli approached me.He had beautiful brown eyes and dirty blond hair.

I leaned closer and hugged him.

Chase stopped kicking and the people that were screaming started whislting.

"Justin......why is Chase kicking him?"

"Oh you mean the new guy?"

"I skipped a few days of school and someone starts hitting on my girl.Of course I have to teach him a lesson."

"That's bullying.Please don't do it anymore."I whined.

"I'm sorry princess.I won't."

"What are you waiting for?Help him up!"I screamed.

"Chase.Help the new guy up would ya?"

"Sure."

"The name is Jordan.Jordan woods."he spitted blood at Justin's face.

"Still so sarcastic although you look dead outside,huh?"

"Why thank you."he laughed.

"You are sick."he was clearly disgusted by Jordan's way of speech.

"Here.Let me help you to the nurse's room."I decided to step into the situation before they start fighting.

"Thanks."he looked at me.
