I was sitting alone in meadow. I don't know why I was there, or how I got there, but id rather not think of what I may have done tonight.
Whenever he possesses me, I have no control of my actions or thoughts. I was tormented constantly by the haunting screams of innocent people.
A shiver sparks down my spine at the memory of the ear piercing scream.
It doesn't matter, I won't remember any of this by morning anyways..
Not again..
I sighed and rested my head on my knees. The grass beneath me was so soft. I was so tired.
So, so tired.
Maybe ill have a quick nap..
'Boom"
'Snap'
'Crash'
But to my annoyance, sleep never came from those god-awful sounds. I groaned and sat up from my grass pillow, and hugged my knees again as I stared out into nothing. At least I thought it was nothing. But nothing can't move right? Nothing can't seem to draw closer? Because it's nothing? That's when I noticed a silhouette of a man. The piercing green eyes stood out in the dark. I notice a fallen tree next to the man, most likely the source of the noises.
He raised a single finger up as if to beckon me.
Another boom sounded and I looked to the sky and realized it was from thunder. The clouds were greying fast, making the whole sky darken as the first starts of rain began.
I stood up slowly, cautious of the man as I squinted trying to make out his features.
His figure was outlined with each flash of lightning. He had the appearance of dark hair and a pale face. And of course, those dark green eyes staring back at me slowly advancing forward.
But before i could get any closer, seemingly out of nowhere on the opposite field, another figure appeared almost gracefully from the mist. The rain slowly pouring from the clouds cast an eerie glow across the scene. The first figure growled over in the direction of the second.
"Adepto de via mea!" He growled, his voice shaking the ground like the thunder.
The second one just chuckled before turning to make eye contact with me. His once blue eyes turned a sickly red color, and he approached me swiftly with a grin on his face. This seemed to anger the first one.
"Abi! Declan, non- Terra, get behind me!" He growls before switching to English.
I start towards him again but freeze. How does he know my name?
"How do you know my name?!" I shout and I can hear him muttering curses under his breath.
"Dammit Terra! Just listen to me! You-" By the time the words came out of his mouth, the second man already stand in front of me,
The blue and red seemed to swirl within his eyes, dancing together like fire and water.
His eyes softened, and the blue part won over once again. I stand frigid as he puts his hands on my hips and leans down to kiss my forehead.
"Mea dulcis.. I, T-terra-" he says softly before he frowns. "Terra.." He says leaning down. "Run," he whispers in my ear.
I stand in shock as he grips my arms and stares into my eyes as the red clouds over the blue again.
I had already decided I like the blue better.
I try to struggle out of his grip, which only gets tighter in response. The one from before must notice the change, because he growls out from his spot.
