Sorry about it going from first to third person randomly, I just find it easier to describe things like that.x

"Ms.Anderson, may you please take your seat?" Our teacher Mr.Thompson said before turning back to the board. I just stood there, mouth gaping open like a fish out of water. I could hear the boy and a few others snicker and my cheeks flame in embarrassment.

"Ms.Anderson, I'm not going to ask again. Please sit down." Mr.Thompson said sternly.

I scan the room and realize luck really isn't on my side today. The only available seat is right behind him. I hadn't even gotten the chance to question why he and the other boy were even in my dreams! I mentally groan before walking behind him, avoiding his gaze and slumping down in my seat. He instantly turns around to face me with a smirk. "Hey there," he whispers.

"Hi"

"I'm Harry,"

"Terra"

"You don't talk much do you?"

"Depends" I smile when he turns away clearly annoyed. I try to focus on what Mr.Thompson is saying.

"Alright class, today we'll be talking about religion and ways they have affected the US. You may wonder how this has to do with History, but surprisingly there are many theories and beliefs that are thought to have made us the way we are today," Mr.Thompson said standing in front of the board before reaching over to turn off the lights. He turned on the projector and it whirred for a moment before a picture of George Washington crossing the Delaware river appeared on the screen. What does this have to do with anything?

"It is said in Christianity that there is a heaven and hell, and a god and deceiver. That if you do good and obey gods wishes, you'll go to heaven and live your life out in happiness. That if you die a virgin soul, you're pure hearted and good. And that's what people have thought our founding fathers lived off of," he said, perking up some people's interest.

"There are other theories about how America became as successful as it is. So everyone knows the story about George Washington leading his troops across the Delaware? And how he heroically led America to victory during the revolutionary war?" He questioned though nobody answered. Of course we all did, who in America who had a brain didn't? So he continued. "Well, it's said that history is only told by the winning side, and with an unknown twist. And that twist we have here, was Washington wouldn't have done it without the help of the deceiver." he paused again. I sigh and rest my head in the palm of my hand;this was gonna be just another conspiracy theory.

"Washington was desperate, he was leading his troops in circles, men rapidly dying out because of the cold. It was said they were beginning to rebel against him. Washington ran away, hiding from his own army. The deceiver, also going by its other many names from Christianity like Satan, the devil, and Lucifer, gave Washington a choice. Sell over a couple of his men's lives including his own, including his own soul, and he'd get victory and prosperity from the war."

He flipped the slide to show a picture of someone who's supposedly Washington, huddled behind a rock and shivering from the cold.

"He accepted, and the lives of the men he'd sold over were lost sporadically, and were all claimed to have been in battle, while they were supposedly searching the land for any enemies. He won the war and obviously in his life he became president. But before his death,he wrote a letter warning of the Illuminati." He switched to a picture of a document with unintelligible writing on it. "Before it could be explained , he died," he said simply. The room was quiet.

"And many of you know of the Titanic, I assume? No, not the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio, but of the actual Titanic? " "Aren't they the same thing?" Someone interjects, causing him and a few others to give a short laugh. "Actually, no." Mr.Thompson replied which silences them, and changed the slide to a picture of people boarding a ship, looking happy and glad to be alive. It broke my heart when I saw children hugging and smiling up at their mother and father. It reminded me of the scene from the movie where the mom is hugging and telling her children to go to bed as the water fills the room.
