As I left his house a few hours later, I couldn't help but stare at his messy brown hair and his brown eyes filled with beauty. He was cute enough, but I didn't want to mess up my new friendship with a silly little crush so I pushed it to the back of my mind.
I walked home, which didn't take too long, and all I could think about was Dan's perfect little face. And what I would give to kiss it. No matter how much I tried to expel the thoughts from my head, Dan was rebelling and staying in my mind.
I got into my house at about 8:30pm, it was still light outside because it was summer. No one was home when I got in. Mum and Dad were still at work and Martyn was probably at his girlfriend's house. He slept out almost every night, but then again, I guess it's better than being in a house either alone or with arguing parents.
