I Knew

I sighed cradling the phone between my cheek and my shoulder as I stepped into my heels before adjusting my skirt, again. (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=81879720)

"You okay, babe?" Niall asked softly on the other side of the phone.

"Yeah, I'm just tired." I said grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge in the dressing room. I was backstage at a live noonday talk show in NYC. I had been up at five am doing some early morning talk show then I had breakfast with an interviewer from some magazine, and then did The View just before coming to this noonday show. I was already exhausted and it was only the second day of the promo tour.

"I'm sorry baby." He said obviously not knowing what to say.

"It's okay, Ni, I miss you." I said glancing over that the door that had just opened. It was Carmen telling me that I had to get to make-up. "I have to go get my make-up done for my interview. I'll text you okay?"

"Okay, babe. I miss you too. I love you."

"I love you too, Niall." I said hanging up the phone. I left the dressing room and walked to the hair and make-up room letting Jasmine do whatever she wanted with my hair and face while I texted Niall.

My phone buzzed with a message and I smiled seeing Alexander's name on the screen. I slid my finger across the bubble so I could see the whole message. Alexander Ludweirdo: First premiere is tonight! Can't wait to see you!

I quickly typed a reply before I was pulled out of my chair and pushed to the side entrance of the stage thing.

"She's the star of My Dad the Superhero 2, here's Kiersten Clifford-Horan!" I cringed at my hyphenated name. It wasn't legally hyphenated but Carmen insisted that it would be best if I hyphenated it while I was still in the business. I just wanted to be Kiersten Horan but apparently people wouldn't know who I was if I was just Kiersten Horan.

I took a deep breath pasting a large smile on my face as I walked out waving at the audience. I gave the interviewer a hug before sitting in my chair designated chair with my mug of water with the name of the show on the side. "Hi, Kiersten! How are you?" She asked grinning at me.

"I'm doing great!" I said smiling big right back at her.

"Let's get right into the questions. This is the second movie of My Dad the Superhero, and the second movie that you've done with Robert Downey Jr. and Alexander Ludwig. What's it like working with the two of them?"

"They're both really great actors and even better people. Robert Downey Jr. is like my second dad, and Alexander is like my big brother. They gave me a lot of tips on acting and on just on life in general. I've really enjoyed working with them." I

We talked about the movie for a little bit before she moved on. "So you've been married to Niall Horan of One Direction for over a year now, how's that? What's Niall like as a husband?"

"Niall is really amazing. He treats me well, and he's so sweet, and he's just perfect. He's everything that you could ever ask for in a husband."

"Aww that's sweet. I supposed you're away from each other a lot? That has to be hard on the two of you."

"I guess so. It kind of comes in stages. We're apart for a few months at a time. It is hard but we make it through. It's just one of those things that you have to do, but we manage."
