Niall:

I bit my lip as the words she said floated through the phone. I want so desperately to beg her not to say that, but I also knew that she had every right to say that to me. It wouldn't matter what I said to her over the phone either. I couldn't convince her of anything over the phone. I had fucked up big time and I needed to fix it and I could only fix it in person. "I will fix this, Kiersten. I promise you I will fix this, and we're going to be a family. I'm on my way to the airport right now. I will be there in a few hours. And when I get there I will fix this. We're going to be a family baby. I promise you me, and our baby. I promise you. I love you, babe."

"Bye, Niall," Was all she said before the line went dead. I sighed resting my forehead against the steering wheel as I waited at the stop light. I looked at the seat next to me where the box sat that Kiersten was planning on giving me. Inside the box was a 'World's Best Father' mug, an 'I Love My Daddy' onesie, a tiny little Ireland Jersey that said Horan on the back, a pair of baby Supra's, a baby bottle with four leaf clovers all over it, and a piece of paper that was taped to an avocado that said, Hi daddy! This avocado is about how big I am! Mommy is so excited for you to know about me! She knows you're going to be so happy! Mommy is about four months along which means that in a few weeks you get to find out whether or not I'm a boy or a girl and in about five months you can hold me, daddy! I can't wait to watch football games with you (mommy says it's soccer) and to hear you sing. Will you sing me lullaby's daddy? Mommy says that you have the prettiest voice in the entire world. I'm so lucky to have a daddy like you. Mommy hasn't seen me yet, she wanted to wait for you, but the doctor has seen me and says that I'm really healthy and that I'm perfect! I love you daddy! - Baby Horan. That letter had made me cry when I realized how much of an asshole I had been to a woman who was not only my wife, but also a woman who was carrying my baby.

I pulled into the parking lot at the airport and grabbed the box from the seat next to me before racing inside the busy airport. "I need to be on the next plane to Dublin!" I practically screamed at the girl at the ticket desk while throwing my credit card at her.

She nodded quickly typing on her computer, "Not that it's any of my business," She said as she printed off my boarding pass, "But whatever you did you really screwed up. She was really upset when she came through here earlier."

"I know," I nodded feeling even more ashamed, "I'm going to fix it." I said bouncing up and down with anxiousness.

"Your flight boards in forty-five minutes, Mr. Horan. And good luck, I really hope you fix it. You two are really great together." She said smiling sadly before handing me my boarding pass and credit card.

"Thank you." I said taking the boarding pass and sprinting through the airport. Fans who recognized me tried to stop me and ask for pictures but I shook my head and apologized saying that I was running really late for an important flight. Which was not a lie, it was probably the most important flight of my entire life. If I didn't make that flight to Dublin and fix the giant mess that I had caused my life would be over.

I finally got onto the plane and I just stared out the window the entire flight wishing that I was there and fixing it. I wasn't quite sure how I was going to fix it but I was going to. I knew that for sure. I wouldn't let Kiersten or our baby go. I loved them both too much to ever be able to live without the two of them in my life. I need them.

I climbed into a cab after my plane finally landed at the Dublin airport and I gave the driver the address to my mum's house.

"I just took a lass there early this morning. Don't suppose you know her do ya?" He asked looking at me in the mirror.
