Characters Hua Qian Gu/花千骨 - A young girl born with a strange scent that would attract monsters. After arriving at Chang Liu Shan/长留山 she becomes the disciple of Bai Zi Hua/白子画 the sect leader. She is the reincarnation of the last goddess fated to have a difficult life. She is a bubbly character who is innocent and pure. However through a series of events she becomes a cold, hard character who even at death would rather save her friends and her teacher.

Bai Zi Hua/白子画 - He is an immortal, the most powerful individual in the world. He has a soft spot for Hua Qian Gu/花千骨 but shields his heart from her and hurts her in more ways than one. Hua Qian Gu/花千骨 is also his Sheng Si Jie/生死劫 which means that they will become each other's undoing.

Dong Fang Yu Qing/东方彧卿 - He is the mysterious character that reveals barley anything. However, he is willing to do anything for Hua Qian Gu/花千骨 because of his love for her. This eventually caused his death, when he made a deal with his own faction to save Hua Qian Gu's life and in turn die horribly.

Sha Qian Mo/杀阡陌 - He is the second most powerful being in the world and also the most beautiful. He is really close to Hua Qian Gu because she reminds him of his sister who is dead. However he cares for her a lot and was willing to sacrifice his life and beauty for her.

Xia Zi Xun/夏紫薰 - She is one of the five immortals and has been in love with Bai Zi Hua /白子画 for over a century despite being unrequited. She specialises in making perfume and fragrance. Due to an incident she received extreme emotional stress and her immortal body was corrupt, becoming one of a demon. Despite this she still gives up her life for Bai Zi Hua/白子画 in the the end.

Plot Hua Qian Gu is a cursed child who manages to make her way to Chang Liu Shan, where she becomes the prized disciple of Bai Zi Hua. They develop deeper feelings but through a series of events Hua Qian Gu received the power of the gods and Bai Zi Hua was forced to try and kill her. But even at death, Hua Qian Gu wouldn't give up, wanting him to admit that he loved her. The fate of the star crossed lovers were decided the moment Bai Zi Hua handed her the bell/宫铃and Emotionless Sword/断念剑. 断念以残 宫铃以毁 从今往后 你我师徒 恩断义绝 The sword is broken The bell is shattered From this day on Teacher and disciple Have no ties to talk of
Author's comments I really liked this film and I definitely think it is worth watching. It had a nice build up and had the sweet bits. I will warn you, the build up is really heart wrenching. But I think the last ten minutes ruined the entire show. So if you are after a good film don't watch the last ten minutes. If you are after a happy ending go ahead and watch the last ten minutes. But whatever you do please check it out. I loved the actors, and for those who have a problem with Zhao Li Ying, I don't see what the fuss is about. She's sweet, albeit a little straight forward, it's a nice trait to have. She's a great actor who knows when to cue emotion. I really enjoyed this and let me tell you I did not watch it for sexy Shi Fu, or whatever you guys call him. Zhao Li Ying was just too adorable to resist!
