Um possessive much?

Chapter 10

Well it's been so long but here I am to update for you guys who are still reading! I almost have 1000 reads! That's pretty awesome!:)

I woke up the next morning feeling like the happiest girl alive! I had just had the best night ever with a guy I think really likes me! How awesome is that?! I think very awesome!

I get up and start to get ready for another day of school. I hop in the shower and wash off really fast. I get out and dress then decide to curl my hair today.

As I'm almost done with my hair I hear my phone ringing from my bedroom. I finish the last few pieces and decide to call back whoever called me.

I pick up my phone and see that Peyton called. I dial her number and she answers on the first ring.

"What are you doing?! We're gonna be late for school get your butt outside!"

I look down at the time and see it's 7:45. Holy crap school starts in less than twenty minutes and it takes about fifteen to get there. I hung up really fast without even saying goodbye and grab my bag and head downstairs.

Mom is cleaning up the kitchen when I run past her. "Bye mom have a good day, love you!" I tell almost out of breath.

"Woah what's the rush?" She asks.

"I'm gonna be late for school!" I yell and slam the front door shut.

Peyton honks the horn like an idiot, because she can see me perfectly fine from here.

I get in the car and throw my stuff into the back seat.

"Okay seriously you didn't need to honk the horn, dummy!" I raise my voice.

She laughs and says, "Well you sure wouldn't hurry up."

I sign and remember to tell her how yesterday went.

"Oh yeah so jake came over last night for dinner." I stated.

She squeals really loud, it hurt my poor little ears. "Oh my gosh are you serious!! Did y'all kiss?! Did your mom and dad like him?!" She rambled on as always.

"Wait wait wait! One question at a time! And yes mom and dad actually like him. No we did not kiss." I say hurriedly.

Peyton gives me a disappointed look.

"Sheesh is he not gonna make some moves on you?!" She says.

I laugh at her bluntness. "We'll we decided to take it slow, because of how he acted at first anyway."

She looks at me like I grew three heads. "You don't need to take it slow, guys like him only come around so often honey." She says sounding ghetto.

I roll my eyes at how weird she was sometimes.

We pull into the school with five minutes to spare. We get out of her car and walk into the school. I go to my locker and get my books out for the first couple of classes. I feel someone's presence near me and I decide to turn to see who it was. To my luck it was the one and only.....

Jake. I smile and close my locker. "Hey Jake." I say.

He returns a heart-stopping smile and says, "Hey beautiful."

Why was he was just do darn sweet? Well hey it's not like I'm complaining or anything.

I blush and I guess he notices because she says, "Your so cute when you blush." He cooed.

By now I'm sure my face was beet red. I decide to tease him and walk past him ignoring him. He walks up behind me and grabs my arm.

"Aww gorgeous don't ignore me." He says sarcastically.

I grab my arm back. "Oh but I will Mr. Bad boy." I smirk.

He smirks back and steps closer to me.

"We'll then how about I make an offer you couldn't refuse?" He whispers huskily so only I can hear.

I shiver from how sexy and intriguing his voice sounded.

I assume he got what he wanted from that because he smiles with confidence.

"How about I take you out this Friday night and I show you a really amazing time." He whispers again.

All I could do was stand there stunned. He wanted to go out with me? Boy was I lucky.

He waits patiently for my answer and I assume he got the picture of how stunned I was because he says, "Well I take that as a yes. I will pick you up at 8 sweet thing." He cooed again and gave my cheek a little kiss. Then he walks away to leave me once again breathless.
