CHAPTER SIX

*Ariana's POV*

I actually feel better after telling Harry. I feel like I'm not so alone. Harry really is a great guy. He's not like what the tabloids make him out as. He's not a womanizer or a bad boy, if anything he's a goodie goodie-minus the average teenage boy behavior. You know, like pranks.

So many pranks!

I was interrupted from my thoughts by the vibrating of my phone. I pulled it out and saw I had a text from Kyle.

From: Kyle

Hey babe! Happy Birthday! :D I'll text you when school lets out my grandparents are in town and I'm not going to school today

From: Ariana

Thanks! Okay I'll ttyl love you ;D

From Kyle:

Love you too. And I'm taking you out tonight at 7 for a b-day dinner ;)

I put my phone back in my pocket as we pulled into the front of my school. It was a two story building painted beige with the words 'Hollywood High' in large letters near the roof.

"Welcome to The Hell; ruining my life since 2010."

"C'mon. It can't be that bad."

"Bye Harry. Pick me up after school?"

"Wouldn't miss it for the world"

"Whatever, Harold" I chuckled looking out the window where you could seen students eyeing Harry's car. "I think they're impressed with your car."

"Well she is a beauty."

I looked over at Harry, took a deep breath and stepped out the car only to be greeted by insults.

"Hey geek! Using daddy's money to by yourself a driver?"

I turned to see that unfortunately Harry's window was cracked and he no doubt heard the rude jock's remark. 'Don't' I mouthed to him. He gripped thee steering wheel but didn't make any movements to get out of the car. I turned around from the Range Rover and came face to face with Valerie. Her fake blonde hair was pulled into a high ponytail that was so tight I got a headache just looking at it. She wore a tight V-neck that was a little to low, if you know what I mean, along with a high mini skirt that I prayed she wouldn't bend over in. I'm not in the mood to be scarred for life.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?"

"Out of my way, Valerie."

*Harry's POV*

Okay, I was beyond angry. What gives that jerk the right to speak to Ariana like that? She wasn't a geek, and to make me even madder, she didn't even stick up for herself. She just took the insult like it was no big deal. It was a huge deal!

I was about to get out of the car, and rearrange the guys face when Ariana turned around and told me to basically stay put. I can't just sit here and watch her take the abuse though. I had to do something, but I know if I did Ariana would surely kill me, and I don't need her angry with me.

At that moment a blonde approached Ari. She seemed vaguely familiar but it wasn't until she spoke up that I recognized her. Valerie. The extremely rude and cocky girl from the ice cream shop, Ariana and I went to the first day we met.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?" She said with her prudish voice.

"Out of my way, Valerie." I'm just glad Ariana stood up to her. I don't think I could take it if she didn't.
