(JESSICA'S POV)

School was going fine. No sight of Mason, yet. It's inevetablewe have P.E this morning for two periods. I hate P.E with a passion. Physical education isn't my cup of tea and will never be, ever. Number one I heard the coach is an ass and two I hate sweating. I heard people saying that it's healthy to sweat. Not for me! I rather stay unhealthy than sweat; I feel so uncomfortable.

I was able to not think about Mason for almost the entire afternoon I spent with my mother. It's harder to not think of him in school because he's always around like the air I breathe. I can't believe that he said to take my apology and stick it. I lied, I can. If he doesn't want my apology then... then... Oh forget it I got nothing.

The one person I couldn't get my mind off though was Chace. He's so dreamy. God please don't let him have a girlfriend; I want him, I need him. I get that he's my bestfriends brother but... No buts Jessica it's wrong. I mentally scolded myself. What am I thinking anyway he,s way out of my league. Plus he's Mason's bestfriend and that would mean seeing Mason more often.

"You're going out tonight with your mom, right?" asked Merylin. Seeing as my mouth was filled with the most delicious burger ever, I nodded.

Presently we're in the girls' locker room getting ready to play sports and get sweaty. I shivered at the thought of beads of sweat running down my back. Gross.  Shoving the burger in my mouth, I stuffed my clothes into my locker. If my mom saw me eating like this, I would've gotten the longest speech in my life about, 'How a lady should behave in other people presence.' That's crap, if I feel to eat like a pig I will, that's no ones business, it's between me and my food. If I want to devour it like an animal, then that's what I'm gonna do.

She got up off the bench carefully dusting off the back of her shorts. Heading towards the door she gave me a wave of her hands signaling for me to hurry up. Patience isn't thought in this school huh.

"As soon as you get dressed, take a picture and send it to me. I want to see how beautiful you look." she squealed. I nodded again, still chewing the burger. "So what's this party about?"

Swallowing, I frowned. "It's for all my parents investors. They are dedicating the party to them. I really don't want to go but I have to." I whined. "I don't get why I have to go, it's their investors."

"Well good luck. Let's play ball." she smiled while I groaned. Sluggishly I walked into the gym, tagging along behind Merylin as she pulled me forward. Can't I simply say I'm sick. Merylin kept urging me to come on by constantly tugging on my arm. She better has hold onto me because if she lets go, I'm speeding off in the opposite direction.

The coach didn't show up yet so Merylin and I took a seat on the bleachers. As usual Merylin was gossiping and I was gazing at nothing in particular. Then my gaze fell upon a dark haired boy. He wasn't facing me; he was busy conversing with a group of fellas. A guy tapped him on the shoulder, pointing in my direction. The guy's head snapped in my direction and smirked at me.

"Can't take your eyes off of me, right Smith?!" yelled Mason across the gym, catching everyone's attention. Asshole.

I didn't even realised I was staring for so long. Blinking my eyes several times, I was finally back to reality. I heard Merylin steups and she rolled her eyes, mumbling something incoherent under her breath. I turned back to face Mason. He still had that dumbass smirk on his face.

My mind was screaming, 'say something back' and I couldn't help it. "You're right I can't take my eyes off of you." I said sarcastically. "You're so damn hot, I think I'm going to melt." I fanned myself with my hands pretending that the place was on fire. "Oh Mason please stop you're killing me. NOT!"
