Chapter 5

A/n ok guys so i will do an explanation because a LOT of people seem really confused. So first of all you should have seen the anime first BEFORE reading this as it is a fan fic and can be confusing if you don't but if you dont want to cuz your a rebel that's cool.... but at least read a quick sypnofisis about it to get a basic idea... Anyways this plot is set a few years AFTER himino becomes the pretear and saves the Princess of Darkness. She left to pursue her career of being a Martial Art Teacher( yes i made this up ) and leaves. Because there is no protection besides the leafe knights, the demons begin spawning rapidly again and they are having trouble. the leafe knights ponder the thought of bringing himino back but then Mannen finds Saki and yeah... This does take place in the future and yes everybody is older!! anyways sorry for not including this into the story plot but i honestly didnt even think about doing that so anyways here is the next chapter!!!!

The next morning I got ready and rushed off to school.

I sat down in my chair and I noticed Reika, a girl who always seemed a little too eccentric but cold towards those she disliked meaning me, was slumped on her desk.

"Um... Reika ?" I asked slowly.

" huh...? Oh good morning..." She said quietly.

She turned to me and her before peachy face was pale, her hair that always seemed to be perfect was a downright mess, and worst of all her eyes were void of any emotion.

I looked over to Mannen, Shin, and Hajime and gave them a confused look. I walked over to them and explained the situation.

" Well? Any ideas?" I asked.

" Hmm... i don't know. i've never seen anything like this before. We should probably ask the others after school." Mannen said.

" Good idea." i replied.

The day ended and I walked with Mannen, Hajime, and Shin back to my house.

" Won't your parents be concerned if you're always gone."asked Hajime.

A grim look was cast over my face.

" No." I replied as i walked into the garden. The rest of the knights were sitting and stood up when we came.

" Something strange happened today. " I said.

" Explain. " Said Hayate.

I explained my encounter with Reika and how she acted towards me. I explained how she would have replied with overconfidence and a twinge of disgust towards me reflecting in her eyes. Yet none of this was shown.

"Hmm. We have never encountered anything like this before." Said Sasame.

"We will have to look into it. Find out what's going on. " said Kei.

The next day...

I was sitting in front of my desk preparing myself for the last class of the day when Aiko,Yuki, and Momo walked over.

" Hey! We were wondering if you wanted to hang out with us after school?" Said Momo.

" yeah! I'd love to!" I replied.

We were walking past the many shops and the martial arts Dojo caught my eye. I looked into the window and saw a girl standing before many children teaching them how to punch. She was tall, with pink eyes and pink short cropped hair.

The kids stopped and bowed and i hear them all say

" Thank you Sensei!"

They all ran to the back of the room. She looked around and saw me staring She smiled kindly and i snapped out of my trance and walked off.

Aiko, Momo and Yuki were standing at another window staring into the cake shop. I rolled my eyes and offered to buy a cake for them. They each greedily took the offer and ran inside to pick out their cake.

I went inside and saw them chatting excitedly. I giggled at them Hungrily trying to choose.

Aiko chose a strawberry mousse cake, Momo chose a peach Jelly cake and Yuki went for the Classic Chocolate cake. I chose my favorite Green Tea and Lime Cake.

I paid and we all sat down and waited for our orders to come out.

" So why did you move to this school?"asked Aiko.

" My mom married the famous director Shinichi Daiji. She had already decided we were moving in with him and so i changed schools." i replied.

" Wow, that must have been hard. " said Momo.

The cakes arrived and we all dug in occasionally stealing a bit of one another's.

We left and i realised it was around 5:30 so i said bye and left. When i got home, Mom wasn't home and Shinichi was at work still. I walked around to the garden and saw the Leafe Knights.

I walked and saw them and that girl from the Dojo. I hid behind the fencing and bushes and listened in quietly.

" How long have you been back Himino?" i heard Mannen ask.

" Only a couple days! " i heard Himino say.

" You should have let is know you were coming back. After all, you are the pretear. We have been having a rough time." Said Hayate.

I became angrier and more lonely and rushed up.

Mannen's POV

" But-" i was cut off by Saki.

" What?! Was this all some kind of joke to you?! You asked me to help you!! i thought i was important to you all!!! Was i just some kind of tool? I can't believe i was so stupid!!" she yelled.

I saw her run off and yelled " Wait Saki!!!" I ran after her.

The demon inside the girl known as Reika could smell the anger and sadness. But it was not coming from her it was coming from somewhere else. Far away.

It immediately spread itself from this empty soul and flew towards the scrumptious smelling soul. It flew fast and reached a large house. It flew towards the smell and saw a garden. There were many people in this area. But one smelt more delicous than the others.

A girl running from the garden area. Yes. She would be the perfect soul to eat up. To use as it's own personal Doll. It would create its own personality using her. It grinned evilly as it flew towards the girl.
