The Next Pretear ( Updated)

A/N: I wanted to write a small extra part. Originally "she" was not part of the story. She actually ended up being written as of the update and I somehow fell in love with her character. I just really wanted to write a short chapter on her. Hope you enjoy!

It has been a few months since the fights at the mansion and since the night that "she" first appeared. Saki still had no memories of that night, nor did Himino, but slowly they began to figure out that together their power was far stronger than that of a pretear fused with a Leafe Knight. 

However, they still hadn't been able to fuse together like that night. The attempts has been failures. Usually they would stand together, and that familiar light would appear, but in a few seconds, they would be thrown apart in a small explosion. Himino had told me that one thing she could remember was that it was something in Saki that had been the catalyst for their fusion, but that something was missing. 

Although the demon was gone, other entities were starting to show up. Some weak, some strong but none so powerful that it required Himino or Saki to fuse with us. It had been a few quiet days so we all decided to go to the cherry blossom viewings. We set up our blankets and food, and all sat down enjoying the trees and wind. The fluttering blossoms blew in the wind creating a blanket of pink petals in the sky. 

Suddenly, the petals all stopped in the sky and then the wind became a strong current blowing everything away. We all stood up bracing ourselves against the wind. Luckily we were out of many other people. 

" SHIN! THE FORCEFIELD!" I yelled to shin. He nodded and pulled up the forcefield. I reached for Saki and she transformed with me. I could also see Himino had transformed with Hayate.  A beast appeared from the whirlwind of leaves and water from the nearby lake. It screeches in anger and whips towards us. We move backwards avoiding the lash of the beast and Himino and Saki both lunge an attack against the beast, but the beast forms a hole where the attack hits, being missed entirely. It blasts another attack and Himino is caught, being pushed to the ground. She separates from Hayate, and kneels to his side when she sees he is bleeding. 

Saki pushes forwards, along with all the other Knights, and blasts another attack, but then suddenly, the beast forms a wall and the blasts are sent tumbling back to us. Saki and I fall to the ground and she forces us to seperate. 
"SAKI?! what are you doing?!" I say to her, reaching out my hand, but she doesn't take it. 
" NO! I won't let you get hurt!" she says to me. She runs over the Himino and they grab hands. That familiar light bursts through and I expect another explosion, but the light fades and then there she is. Her beautiful white hair flows in the wind, and she turns to face us. 

Her striking blue eyes soften and she smiles. Then the smile fades and she turns to face the beast. She dashes towards the beast pulling her scythe out of thin air and swipes it towards the beast. It splits into two and I think we've one but it materialises back together. She runs around another way and stands still for a moment. Then another quick move and she is near the rear of the beast, and brings down the scythe. The beast howls in pain and then the fast moving air slows down and the water splashes down, getting us all wet. She lands on the ground and the scythe disappears. 

We all get up and walk over to her. She begins to close her eyes.
" WAIT!" I yell. She opens her eyes. 
" Who are you... exactly?" I say.
"I go by many names... but one you may be familiar with is the white pretear."
" Wait... you... you're the legendary white pretear?" 
"Yes."
"What about that time... with Himino? She used her own power to transform. She wasn't the white pretear?" Hayate says.
"In a way, she was. Till next time." She says and then she's gone, and Saki and Himino are there. They both kneel down, tired but alive.
" Saki! Are you okay?" I ask her.
"Yes, I'm fine. I met her. "
"The white pretear?" She nods her head.

Our knowledge of her, the white pretear, is still limited. The times when Saki and Himino have been able to transform has been limited and everytime, she leaves as quick as she appears. Saki still has no idea how and why she is able to transform, but no matter what, she is always there to save us when we are in danger. We are still unsure who exactly she is, but i'm sure one day we'll find out.
