As day broke on Isla Nubar, many of the park workers where already working or heading into work. As your day begins early when your a theme park and taking care of living animals. Plus you kind of have to wake up early to get most normal things done before your shift.
As for me, I've been awake since about four in the morning. As one of the head animal specialist, I have to wake up early to make sure everything is running smoothly and that we did have any incidents over night. Since I am one of the very few specialist the island has I have to check over every animal in the park that has hatched.
Grabbing two large coffee's and a pack of donuts from our finest little Jurassic Cafe has to offer, I make my way towards the control room. Saying good morning to the people that I pass, I show my ID to the security desk so that they can let me up. As I exit the elevator I smile at the person I see, balancing my coffee's and donuts I hold a finger up to my lips to Vivian, one of the tech people, not to say anything as I sneak up on a person. I lean down.
"You really need to pay attention."

Lowery jumps from his chair, nearly misses me. I can't stop laughing even if I wanted too. "That's not funny Haley." Lower said sitting back down. I handed him the pack of donuts and his coffee.
Lowery and I have a very special bond; after all he is my older brother. He's older than me by only a few years, okay more like ten years. Normally business don't like hiring siblings, apparently not with us. When Masrani Global was hiring they specifically where looking for people like us. Lowery is tech savvy, plus he's on the National Security list as a hacker. He has devoted his whole life into technology; that why they hired him, he's the head guy in the control room. Most people just don't know that.
Now me; they wanted me cause of work with animals and the great outdoors. Not one of those girls who's afraid to get dirty. Our mother was a well known vet and animal specialist before she passed away. She would take my brother and I to work with her but only I would engage with the animals and learned the ins and outs of them, just like her. After she passed away, my brother and I where only fifteen; I still very much worked with animals and went the zoo's she had worked with in the past to get more hands on work. It helped out. People like to say I have the magic touch when it comes to animals. When I first started working at Jurassic work, I was actually scared I wouldn't have the magic touch with the dinosaurs. But shocking me and Lowery that I have more than a magic touch, its like they can understand me. I was promoted rapidly until I became head specialist.
When I first started I was working with only triceratops, but over time they started working me with other animals; the biggest test was to have me work with the carnivores and I passed that test. I still love the triceratops but the raptors have got to be my favorite carnivores. The girls really connect with meas I have been the only female that they have come across beside each other. Though me with working with the carnivores of the park, Lowery gets so nervous. He won't tell me but Vivian does. She told me he cringes every time he hears I am going to be working with any.
