Jermaine -"Baby I want that big teddy bear over there," Taraji whined as we walked passed this game stand.
"You really want this bear babe?" I laughed. She poked her lips out and nodded. I couldn't help but chuckle. I grabbed her hand and walked up to the stand. I paid the dollar and the man started the game. I had to shoot ten baskets in order to get the bear.
I wiped my hands off and he threw me a basketball. I shot it in the net and then the basket went higher. He gave me another ball and I threw it in the net.
This processes repeated until I finally shot twenty baskets winning two Giant teddy bears for Taraji.
"Thank you for my teddy bears baby," she giggled as she kissed my cheek.
"You welcome love, come on let's get a funnel cake," I replied as I grabbed a hold of hand. We walked inside the little candy shop and the smell of bread being baked, and cinnamon instantly hit my nose.
We walked behind this couple and stood in the line. After waiting about roughly ten minutes I ordered us a loaded funnel cake with everything on top.
We walked outside the shop and over to sit down at the little benches. I grabbed some of the funnel cake and fed her. She fed me as well.
I looked out at all the people walking, laughing, the sounds of people screaming and the sounds of the roller coasters began to fill my ears. It was a beautiful day, a slight breeze, but overall the sun was shining.
"So I start classes Monday, I move into my dorm room tomorrow night," she said breaking the silence.
"yeah, that's good love," I replied.
"I was thinking maybe you could enroll it's not too late baby, this could be good for you, I mean maybe you could major in music production since you want to be a rapper," she replied.
"I don't know baby I'm gone think about it, right now I need to find me a crib, I been looking at some apartments," I replied.
"So did you find something that you like?" She asked.
"Yeah, I found this one bed room studio apartment downtown I like that it's near the studio, so hopefully I'll be spending a few long nights up in the stu," I replied.
"Will I be invited to your apartment?" She asked.
"Of course babe," I chuckled.
"Better not invite nobody else," she said giving me the side eye.
"Calm down mama, you ain't gotta worry about nobody else, besides I mean you focusing on you school, I'm focusing on the music so ain't no time for nobody else, we gotta try and make time for us shit," I replied.
"Let's make a vow," she replied.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Let's vow to remain faithful and loyal to each other,-"
"We ain't even gotta make this vow baby you know where my loyalty lays at," I replied.
"Baby," she huffed.
"aight baby," I replied as I grabbed her pinky.
"I promise that it's only us nobody else, I promise to stay true to you," I replied.
"I promise that it's only us nobody else, I promise to stay true to you," she replied.
