Everyone has problems. They have issues and worries and faults. They have ups and downs and bad days and good days. But those things, they're supposed to get better, right? You know the saying, there's always light at the end of a tunnel? Or maybe, there's always a rainbow after a storm? Some optimistic quote that makes people inspired.
Well, if those small phrases even slightly connected to [l/n] [f/n] then the tunnel she was going though was a pretty long tunnel.
She didn't have a home, technically, seeing as her mother left her and her dad... Well, he was never there. Ever. So, she was an orphan. A foster kid. And she had learned that, since no-one wanted her, she would just keep to herself, hiding her pain.
The kids in her junior high didn't make it easy either. She played volleyball, but she wasn't the biggest or tallest player or kid. They picked on her and, more than a few times, physically hurt her.
Now, back to the volleyball thing, that was the one thing that took her anguish away. Playing until she had bruises covering her arms or until they seemed to glow bright red from receiving the ball so much.
And that's how [f/n] lived her life. That is, until she entered high school.
Karasuno.
It wasn't necessarily a prestigious school. They were the "flightless crows" sports wise, or so [f/n] thought, so what was it that made Karasuno so life changing?
What was it that made [f/n] so upset and happy at the same time?
Unfortunately, [f/n], not wanting a repeat of junior high, did not want to join the girls' volleyball club. She hadn't thought about joining any particular club, either.
She wasn't especially excited for her first day at Karasuno, not seeing the significance.
It's just another day. She thought, smoothing her skirt out. She sighed, stepping out of the foster home she was staying in and began walking down the sidewalk.
Her pace was quick and steady, not really jogging but it would be hard for a slow walker to catch up with her.
Karasuno...
She held onto the straps of her backpack.
Karasuno...
It's just another high school.
Karasuno...
And that's when it happened. That's when an orange blur changed her life.
