Skip ahead to the beginning of the school year.

On the first day, all we did in school was review the same old rules that we had already learned the previous year. I was bored out of my mind. As of the boy I had met, I wondered if I had any classes with him. I figured not. He seemed nice at the time. Lunch was pandemonium as usual. He wasn't at lunch. Maybe he had first lunch. Maybe he wasn't in any of my classes. I ate lunch as usual: reading and being antisocial.

Skip ahead to science. When I walked into the classroom, there he was. That romantic side of me started thinking again.

Oooooooooh... Look at that. He's in one of your classes. How cute. You're destined for each other...

I groaned (on the inside of course).

Shut up.

The teacher lined us up in alphabetical order. I hardly knew anyone. There was Maya. I knew her. She was Sierra's best friend. And Lindsey P. Allison knew her. I knew less than half the class. I had to stand next to him in that line.

Awwww look. You guys are standing next to each other...

Ignoring my brain, I focused on who I knew and who I didn't. Raina. Steven. Jon Stockwell. I knew them. I knew their names at least. Ordering us into table groups, I was stuck with the boy. The teacher, Mrs. Wandrey, had us introduce ourselves to the people at our group. Ugh. I didn't want to talk to anyone. But I sat still and listened. The people at my group seemed nice enough. There was a boy, Eugene that I hated right away. Megan White. And The boy who's name I found out was Gabriel. Vicker. He talked a lot. The only thing I must have said in that class was to introduce myself.

Silence is key. The key is golden. Golden is good.

And also: silence is golden but duct tape is silver.

Author's note: If your wondering why I hate Eugene, it's because he had to put his opinion in EVERYTHING. He was always like, "Well I think that we should..." It was SO annoying. And also I don't like people in general.
