She looked amazingly beautiful as she flowed down the stairs. I wanted to compliment her but the words wouldn't come out my mouth.

"I-" I stuttered but Alli interrupted me.

"Let's get this over and done with then," she muttered as she walked out the door and stood by my car.

I waved goodbye to her mother as I followed Alli out. I opened the car door for her.

"Here you go my m'lady," I cheekily smiled at her but she didn't return it all she did was mumbled a thanks as she got in.

I got in the car with a sigh, I wanted her to enjoy the night. I wanted to treat her special, I want to gain her trust and break those walls down but they seem so high but I'm going to do everything I can to do so.

"Thanks for agreeing to come on a date with me," I thanked her.

"I didn't really have a choice did I," she sighed as she look out the window.

I turned on the music to make her feel a little bit more better. The song 'Chasing cars' by Snow Patrol came on.

"Do you like this song?" I asked.

"Yes," she replied as she continued to stare out the window but I knew she was dying to sing along, to be honest so was I. I loved this song.

"You can sing it if you want, I don't bite," I laughed. I saw a little smile play on her lips but she quickly turned it into a frown.

"I don't sing," she told me.

"I bet you can," I teased,

"No, I only dance but I've been told I'm shit at it and I may as well give up but to be honest dancing is my passion. I will never give it up." She said as she tapped her thighs.

"I think you dance beautifully," I complimented her, she gave me a weak smile in return.

"Seriously, you show so much emotion through it. It's as if you are expressing every single thing that has happened in your past. You lurk people in trying to figure out how you are feeling but I couldn't figure it out when I saw you dancing," I continued.

"No one will," she softly spoke.

"Why won't you let anyone?" I asked.

"It's a long story that I'm not going to share with anyone. Especially not people I barely know," she bluntly said.

"But I want to know you, I want to know why you build your walls so high and why you don't let anyone in," I said.

"There's no point getting to know me, there's no point getting to know anyone to be honest. They all leave in the end," she sadly whispered.

"I would never leave you," I told her.

We soon pulled up outside an Italian restaurant. Her mum told me that it was her favourite restaurant ever.

"How did you know about this place?" She asked me as she got out the car.

"I did say I wanted to get to know you so I asked your mum where your favourite restaurant was," I smiled at her as I opened the restaurant door for her to walk through.

A waiter came up to us and took us to our table. He pulled out the chair for Alli and she sat down. That made me angry. That was suppose to be my job. I gave the man a stern look. I clenched my hands on the table as I sat down.

"Hi, I'm your waiter Simon. How about some drinks? Maybe a white wine for the pretty lady?" The waiter, Simon , smiled at her.

"Just a glass of water please, I don't drink." She told Simon as she smiled back at him.

"What about you sir?" Simon asked me as he carried on staring at Alli.

"Water as well," I hissed through gritted teeth. He was trying to flirt with my girl. I know she ain't my girl officially but she is to me.

"What would you like to eat?" He asked still staring at Alli. He better stop or I was going to loose it.

"I will have the lasagna please," she smiled politely at him.

"And for you sir," he asked bluntly.

"Spaghetti and meatballs," I snapped.

"Okay so that is a lasagna for the pretty lady and a spaghetti and meatballs for you," he read out the order again.

"Look mate, we are on a date so it would be great if you could stop flirting with my date otherwise your face will meet my wrist!" I shouted at him as I stood up from my chair.

"It's clear that the girl don't want to be on a date with you," he told me.

"How is it?" I grabbed him by the collar. He was really making me angry now.

"She hasn't looked at you once since you've been here and she has already left," he told me. I let go off him and looked at the table. He was right. She wasn't there anymore.

I scanned the restaurant and I still couldn't find her.

Shit.
