The Truth

(Shelby P.O.V)
I went to the cafe to meet Jess. While there I ordered a muffin. Finally she showed up. "So why did you want to tell me?"
"The truth about last night"
"What truth"
"Last night it wasn't just Adam and Ross who did messed with you and Max it was Barney, Red, and ............Me"
"WHAT you were in on it to why I thought you were my friend."
"I am your friend let me explain"
"Explain what that my friend would do something like that behind my back."
"Let me explain please Shelbs"
"Don't call me that anymore I'm leaving"
Jess than grabbed my arm.
"I only did it to help you"
"Help me how were you helping me by doing a stunt like that."
"Because I know that you like Max and are too scared to tell him that."
"What does that have to do with anything"
"i also know that Max likes you to, you both like each other and are both to scared to admit it I saw how you both look at each other at the party."
Jess lets go of my arm.
"So what if I do like Max why did you do that to me."
"Because the way you both let that big wall down is when you both are drunk.......and anyways we got the idea when YOU joined the littles contest that the guys were having."
"Ooooh"
"Do you want to know the whole truth."
"Yea of course"
"Ok so when you both had a little something to drink we wanted you to talk to each other but you were on one end of the house and Max was at the other end. So Barney and Red told Max to talk to you and I told you 'hey why don't you talk to Max I know you like him' and you and Max were just talking than kissing than making out. Adam, Barney, Red, Ross and me all made it our little secret but I had to tell you I didn't want this to affect our friendship."
Shelby hugs Jess.
"Nothing can affect our friendship"
"So your not mad"
"Oh I am mad but I cant stay mad at you"
"I just thought you and Max will make a cute couple."

(Max P.O.V)
After I beat up Adam and Ross I made them tell my why they did what they did.
(M=Max,A=Adam,R=Ross)
R-Ok Max this is what happened
A-We know that you like Shelby so we tried room help you be with her.
M-ok first what makes you think that I like Shelby.
A- Come on Max we know that you liked for a while we saw how you look at her at the party.
M- Shut up now before I kill you
A- ............
R- OK so moving on Max we wanted you to be with Shelby even thought I think she can do much better
M- HEY
R-Sorry Max but she's my cousin and I want the best for her.
M- I know and that's why I don't want to hurt her
A- HA so you do like Shelby
M- So maybe I do but that doesn't mean you two have to interfear
R- It not just us Barney and Red also help
A- Ross shush
M- Great more people to kill later
R- hey Max I need to ask are you going to ask Shelby out
A- Yea are you
