(Shelby's P.O.V)

(At the office.)

"Thanks Elizabeth for the ride." I say as i was getting out of the car.

"No problem and have fun." She says with a smile and drove off.

(Max P.O.V.)

We headed to the office when Tim started saying.

"So Max I hear you have a date who's the poor girl that agreed to date you."

"haha Tim very funny" I said with a sarcastic voice.

"It's actually Shelby who's going on a date with him." Ross said to Tim while looking at me threw the mirror. I guess he thinks I'm going to hurt Shelby.

"Really so you and Max are going to be cousins soon." Tim says while making Ross a bit annoyed.

"NOOO It's just a date nothing more." Ross yells at Tim for even think a thought like that.

"Ross come on we all knew these two will soon end up together so you might as well start calling cousin." Tim is really trying to make Ross really annoyed. Ross looks like he going to punch Tim.

"Tim shut up and just drive were going to be late." I say trying to end this awful conversation. But that thought never crossed my mind maybe because it's too soon to think of that.

"Fine geez guys can't take a joke."

(Later that day)

(Shelby P.O.V)
This day went by fast. Max texted me and said to wait for him in front of the building so I better go now. I was going down the stairs when I saw someone I didn't think would be here.

"Hey Shelby"........

(Max P.O.V)
I couldn't focus today. But anyway Shelby's probably waiting outside so I better get going.

"Hey Max wait up." I turned and saw Ross with flowers in his hand.

"What's with the flower?" I asked

"It's for you" he said handing me the flowers.

"Uhh wow thanks Ross but i dont like you like that and I have a date." I said playing around with him cause I knew these were for Shelby because I over heard him taking to a flower store on the phone and mentioned Shelby's name.

"It's not for you its for you to give to Shelby." He said a but annoyed.

"Thanks but why did you buy them."

"For your date with Shelby. Your first date has to go good and flowers on the first date is always a good choice."

"Thanks Ross."

"No problem but remember if I hear something-"

"Yess I know Ross you've been lecturing me the whole day."

"Just remember ok." He said as he walked back to his office to finish some things. Ross is something all right.

These flowers are pretty and Shelby going to love them I was heading to the front of the building when I saw something I didn't want to see.

I saw Shelby hugging Steven right next to his car and then she went inside the car with him. What why would she go with him. Did Shelby never had feeling for me was this all a joke. I didn't know what to do as soon as they drove off I dropped the flowers and went back inside the office.

After being there for like an hour I went home and when Ross Tim asked me what happened I ignored them and went to my room the whole night.

(Shelby's P.O.V)

"Hey Shelby" I saw Steven right next to his car and I didn't know what he was doing here.

"Ohh hey Steven what are you doing here and at this time?"

"I have something to show you."

"what is it?" he pulled out his phone and showed me a picture of Max and a girl kissing and by the looks of it, it was from this morning because he had the same exact clothes. I could feel tears falling down my face. So was everything that Max told me a lie. Did he not really meant any of the things he said.

"I'm sorry Shelby but I thought you should know."

"Why would you show me this."

"Because you should know that he likes someone else and that he may not like you after all."

A part of me wants to believe that this isn't true but the other part saw that Max had another girl and by the looks of the pic he really likes her. I don't know what to believe anymore I just stood there with tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry Shelby."

"......."

"Here I'll take you home if that's ok"

"Yea that's fine thanks."

He drove me home but the whole ride he trues to talk to me but I didn't a thing. I don't know what to do anymore if I go to work tomorrow then i have to see Max and I don't want to see him at the moment. I guess it's time to talk to Ross about our plan.

"Thanks for the ride Steven."

"Sure and Shelby if you need to talk I'm here for you." He got out of the car and hugged me. I didn't notice it cause my mind was somewhere else. I realized when he pulled away. He went back to his car and drove away. It took me a minute to realize I was just standing in front of my house.

I went inside and was getting ready for bed when I saw the time 7pm. Me and Max should have been on our date right now.

I got the phone and called Ross.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ross it's me Shelby." I tried to stop the tears.

"Shelby what's wrong are you crying."

"No no not at all."

"You sure?"

"Yea I just have allergies that's all."

"Ok so what's up aren't you on a date with Max at the moment."

"Ohh yea but because of my allergies Max drove me home to get some rest."

"Ohh ok so your date was cancel."

"Yea I guess you can say that." I could feel more tears coming down. I tried to hold them back. "Any way I was thinking it's time to do what we wanted to do."

"What do you mean."

"I mean us leaving the office and going our separate ways."

"Ohh yea we were planning that for a while now."

"So do you still want to leave the office."

"Yea I still want to leave cause I have some ideas for my channel but they wount let me do them so I want to do what I want in my own channel."

"Ok so do we call Adam and tell him we're leaving."

"Yea but it has to be tomorrow in the morning cause he probably have late work to do."

"Yea ok so tomorrow we'll talk to Adam."

"Yup ok good night Shelby."

"Night Ross."

(End Of Call)

It's settled then me and Ross are leaving tomorrow. I wounder if i should go somewhere else or just work at home? I'll think about it later at the moment I just want this day to be over.
