Airplanes

~Rozz's POV

"COPELAND!" I yell as I run towards the doorstep.

"Hey Rozzalynn," Katelynn smiles at me.

"Katelynn!" I grab her in a tight hug, and her arms wrap around me.

"Hey babe," Kellin kisses he, and I release her from my hug.

"How'd it go?" She asks as she looks over at him.

"Really good. Rozz got to meet a lot of bands, she got to sing, got an interview, and was fought over!"

"Fought over?" She asks, fear in her eyes.

"Gabe, Tony, and Vic all like her. Oh and she ended up in the hospital Oh oh! and she has a boyfriend named Jamie!"

"Well shit Kellin! What about you, did anything interesting happen to YOU?!" She says finally.

"Nope," he replies and I hold back a laugh.

"Well damn... Lets get inside, dinner is almost ready," She says in her usual tone.

"Yay! Yes! oh my gawd food!" I scream like a kid in a candy shop.

"Did you guys not feed her?!" She asked horror strucken.

"Yes we did!" Kellin assures her.

"i just want home cooked food," i tell her.

"Its just spaghetti..." she says slowly.

The timer chimes in the kitchen, and she hands me Cope. Katelynn runs to the kitchen, and I carry the baby over to her play pen in the living room.

"Ozz," Copeland calls out as she pulls up to side of the pen.

"Cope!" I smile as I walk backwards towards the kitchen.

"up!" She demands me to get her out, and claps her hands.

"Be back in a minute. I'm getting food," I tell her in a baby-ish voice.

"Foo!" She exclaims with a smile, clearly understanding what I meant.

I quickly walk to the kitchen and slop a heap of spaghetti onto my plate.

"Hey where's her food?" I ask Kellin as I finish up my plate.

"Ummm cabinet above the microwave," Katelynn tells me, and I get out a little baby version of raviolis.

I stick the can in the microwave and nuke it. I grab a spoon and the food and take it to Copeland.

"Bite!" She tells me about the time I sit down in front of her.

I open the container and give her a bite, then I take a bite of spaghetti, then she gets a bite of ravioli.

"Rozz... why are you eating her raviolis? and why is she eating spaghetti..." Kellin asks me, and I look down to see that I was in fact feeding myself Copeland's food.

"I don't know... I guess I'm tired," I confess as I finish the last bite of spaghetti, and feed Cope the last of her food.

"Well you know where your room is, you're welcome to go to bed at any time you please," Kellin tells me with a smile.

"I think I'll go up and Skype Jamie for a bit before I go to bed," I say as I get up and take my plate and the empty container to the kitchen.

"Fine by me," Someone says.

"Bye bye Ozz," Copeland says waving, and I wave back to her.

To Jamie: Can I Skype you before I go to bed?

I close my door, and I pull my laptop into my lap and power it on.

Jamie: Sure, but give me a minute or two to get on.

To Jamie: Okay, just call me when you get on, I'll already be on.

Jamie: Can't wait!

I watch my screen until I see that he is calling me. I answer quickly and smile as I see his face appear.

"Heyyyy," I draw out.

"Hello," He says, a grin appearing across his pale face.

"I miss you..."

"I miss you too... but how was your day?"

"Pretty boring, but its better now that I'm talking to you," I say, and nearly scream after realizing what I said.

"Awwwwwww! I wish I could fly up there and visit..." He tells me, and I look at him slightly confused.

"Why can't you?"

"I can't afford the tickets, I spent all my money on Warped tickets," He admits as he looks down.

I grab my phone off the bed and look for Kellin's contact.

To Kellin: Could we afford a plane ticket?

Kellin: Yeah, of course. Why?

"Who are you texting?" Jamie asks me and I shush him for a second.

To Kellin: I want to bring Jamie down, but he can't afford an airline ticket.

Kellin: Oh well.. sure we can buy one for him. I'll go buy one online right now.

"Jamie!" I scream and his head pops up, "Kellin is going to buy you a plane ticket! You get to come see us!"

"No he can't... I will feel guilty knowing I can't pay him back," He tells me, and I feel like punching him for a split second.

"You are coming. If you want we can find you a job, but you are still coming here," I tell him, and he gives me a dirty look.

"Fine. Just tell me when I leave," he says finally giving up.

Kellin: okay I got one booked for tomorrow. He will be in first class, and his flight leaves at 10a.m.

I read the text to Jamie and he nods. "Thank you so much for doing this. Thank you for being mine..." He ends in a whisper, and I feel my cheeks get warm.

"I love you..."

"Love you too, baby. Now you should get to sleep... you look like you are about to crash," He chuckles, and I realize how tired I am.

"Goodnight, and be careful in the morning," I yawn.

"I will. Goodnight!" He tells me with a little air kiss, then he disconnects.

I get up and plug my laptop back up to the charger across the room, and I turn off my light. I blindly make my way to my bed, and fall about two feet away from my destination.

"ugh! Fine I'll sleep on the floor," I say to the air, and I pull my pillow and blanket off my bed.

The memory of the night my mom made me sleep in her bedroom floor played through my mind like a movie. She thought I was going to sneak out to go to a party down the block, so she locked me in her room and told me to sleep in the floor. My mom was an idiot back then, and still is. I wouldn't sneak out to go to that stupid party. It was being hosted by the meanest girl in the whole school, and she hated me more than anyone else.

"Goodnight ozz," Copeland says from outside of my door, and I smile.

"Goodnight Cope. Night Katelynn. Use protection Kellin," I tell them all goodnight, and grin.

I hear Katelynn giggle, and then they start walking to their rooms.

I feel my eyes start to close, and I let sleep overtake my body. The sooner I sleep, the sooner Jamie will be here.
