~Jamie's POV
I lean down and kiss her forehead hoping it won't be the last time but knowing it probably is.
"Baby I love you," I whisper and start crying without realizing it.
"Is that everyone?" The doctor asks and we all nod.
His hand goes down to the plug and he holds it for a few seconds, not doing anything.
I take a deep breath to try to calm myself, but I just couldn't do it. I break free from everyone's arms and run outside to the bathroom.
~Kellin's POV
Everyone looks at the open door as if they want to join him, and quite technically I want to myself. I can't stand watching this.
Dr. Lupid's hand clasps around the cord and he gives it a small jerk. I close my eyes and prepare for the heart monitor to let out a long cry signalling her death. It didn't come.
Instead nothing changed. It was as if he never pulled the plug.
"She's breathing on her own?!" Dr. Lupid says quite surprised. "Maybe she has a chance... her vitals are holding up pretty good..." he quickly shakes his head and looks at us, "Don't get your hopes up though. She could take a turn for the worse at any time."
I halfway smile then run out of the room to get Jamie.
"Jamie!"
"Kell?"
"She's still breathing! There is hope! Please tell me you have hope... please?" I ask and he starts to shake his head but stops.
"I just can't see it happening..." he says quietly as he starts walking off, head down, and I realized he was crying.
"Jamie... come here..." I say and he quickens his pace. "God damn it you!" I say as I run towards him.
I pull him into a hug, no matter how gay it looked, and whispered "it's going to be okay" in his ear as he let the waterworks begin.
we sat down in the hallway and talked until he finally was smiling and laughing.
Then the unmistakable sound came, a sound I was dreading, a long continuous beepppp. Tony walks out of the room immediately and sits on the floor. Doctors and nurses run into the room and everyone else walks out.
"Everyone! She's fine, her heart monitor just came unplugged," a younger nurse tells us all and all I could hear was us all exhale."which raises the question, did she move?"
No one had seen her move.
The doctor looks at us waiting on a response but no one had one. instead we all sat there, mouths open wide, in shock.
The doctors and nurses leave and we move close to Rozz. I take her hand into mine and softly kiss it, "You will be alright...."
