Never Sleep Again
Chapter 1
"Alisa! Alisa!" Her best friends, Korra yelled from down the hall. Alisa always knows what she going to say if she sees her best friend running down the hall during her 'make out block' with her boyfriend, Eric. Alisa rolled her eyes and grabbed her book from her locker and shut the door. Not like most 16 years olds girls, Alisa hates gossip. She could care less about really.
"ALISAJONLIKESYOU!" she scremed.
"Woah what? Calm down" Alisa laughed.
"JON WANTS TO KNOW IF YOU WANTED TO GO OUT!?" korra yelled in her face. Alisa slapped her hand over her mouth.
"Could you have said that even loader!?" She said whiling having her hands fall back down to her side.
"Of coures not!" korea smiled, throwing her arms in the air. "sooo what's the answer!?"
"tell him I said no, like I said the Last 4 times" she said swaging her arms around like a mad woman.
"Aww come on Alisa!! He REALLY like youuuuu. Just give him a chance!" Korra begged.
Alisa sighed whiling opening the door to their l.a class. She stop and turned to Korra.
"I'll think about it." and she walk into class whiling Korra followed.
"Good. Cause I'm missing my make out block to talk to you." Korra said whiling sitting in the back of the class and fixing up her make up. Alisa rolled her eyes.
"yeah cause missing your 'make out block' with Eric is a bad thing."
Korra open her mouth to say something but got cut off my the teacher. Alisa smiled to her self. Yes, Korra is like a sister to Alisa but sometimes korra can be a little drama queen-ish.
"Today We'r be having partners in a project!" Mrs. Fox said with a bright smile. The class just groaned. Korra looked at Alisa hoping she get the hint that she wants to be partners with her. Alisa never likes to be partnered up with her, she just ending up doing all the work at the end anyway because Korra 'might break a nail' by writhing.
"Each partner will make up the ending of the story we read last week." alisa rolled her eyes. What are we? Freaking 7 graders? She thought to her self.
"If you don't finish this by the end of the block then you and your partner will have to finish later." Mrs. Fox said whiling handing out paper.
"This is due tomorrow. If you don't hand this in, you and your partners grade will go down 20%." she stood there for a couple of minutes. "ok now for the partners" she clapped her hands together.
"um, what about,
Kyle and Ben.
Faith and Ethan.
Aiden and Riley
Alisa and Damon"
Alisas eyes widened. Mrs. Fox was calling off the names but Alisa could care less, she was to busy thinking, why me? Her eyes scanned the room looking for him. He was all the way up in the front of the class with his head down. 'oh gate he's problely asleep' she thought to her self. Damon is one of these kid, that no one talks to. And if you do, it looks like he about to rip your head off.
"Ok class get to work" and with that Alisa slowly got up and Korra put her hand on her arm.
"good luck, with that" she said and made her way to her partner. For some resin it bothers her that Korra said that. I mean Alisa new he wasn't like most 16 years old but he was still a human.
As she made her way to his desk he look up at her and quietly look back down. He look like he hasn't sleep for months on end. He's hair was long, black, he had dark purple bags under his eyes. He was wearing a over sized sweat shirt with black skinny jeans. He just looked like he just got up.
"uh hi. I'm Alisa." she sat down in front of him.
Damon sighed. "hi" and he did a little wave.
"ok um, I know this is really awkward but uh, what do you want to wright for the ending?" she ask whiling biting her lip, nervously.
Damon sits up. "just give me the damn paper and you don't have to do anything." and with that he started writhing the end of the story for Alisa.
"um.. If you need help, I'm here.." Alisa said a little scared.
"nope, I'm fine. I'll give it to you tomorrow during class." Then with that the bell rang. "oh and by the way, sorry for passing it on." and he open the door and walk out. 'what was that about? Alisa thought to her self. What does he mean 'sorry for passing it on?' what?'
"wow that was werid huh?" Korra ask behind Alisa. She jumped a little.
"uh yeah.." Was all she could get out.
