Just a Plant

No one seems to notice

A plant crying out

A plant that begs for water

And a plant that longs for care and love

Hurt from the indifference it receives

That it weakens its once strong roots

Once the typhoon comes

It will only go with the flow

Nothing will hold the land anymore

And the soil will erode leaving nothing but regret

The world will crumble, faster than what is expected

That is the time when man will regret

Time pass by,

We can change the future but not the past

We cannot return how it used to be

We can just prolong its life

It is worth the try...

But who dares to lead?

No one will dare for they will hide instead

And only pretense will emerge

Is that what we want the world to be?

Full of lies and hypocrisy?

Only talk and no action?

Only masks and not the truth?
