Lauren sat up on the bed, while her sister was jumping around. The girl furrowed her eyebrows trying to figure out what was happening."Wake up! Wake up!" Taylor said, shaking her.
"Stay quiet." Lauren murmured confused and still partially sleepy.
The little girl saw that her sister was not at all decided to get up-in fact, she had turned her back, burying her face in the pillow, Taylor changed her strategy.
"I will make breakfast alone with Dad." She said.
Lauren pulled out immediately her face and looked at the little girl.
"Daddy's back?" She asked excitedly, her eyes sparkled.
Taylor nodded vigorously, then stuck her tongue running out in the hallway.
Lauren quickly got out of bed, immediately rushing down the stairs.
She arrived in the living room, she didn't even have time to cross the threshold that she found herself in Michael's arms, she buried her head in his neck, hugging him strongly.
"You've finally woken up." He told her with a laugh "Always the same sleepyhead."
"I went out last night."
"I hope you enjoyed it." Mike replied, gently stroking her head.
"I did." She nodded "I met really nice people."
"She's a nerd." Said a voice behind them.
Clara was sitting comfortably on the couch with a nice cup of coffee in her hands and Taylor was resting on her legs.
"Oh my nerd!" Her father laughed, sitting beside his wife.
"I'm not a nerd!" Lauren defended herself crossing her arms over her chest.
Then suddenly a confused expression appeared on her face, her mother was right.
The people she met last night, were the nerds.
"Oh crap." She murmured to herself "I'm a nerd!" Lauren xclaimed shocked, provoking the laughter of her parents.
"Do you want to know a secret?" Michael said.
Lauren nodded and sat down on one of the chairs.
"I was a nerd in high school ..." he continued, glancing to his wife, who nodded with a smile "But that didn't stop me from marrying a cheerleader." He concluded with a wink.
The black-haired chuckled, remembering again that her parents were really different from each other.
They came from two completely different social backgrounds:
Clara came from a normal family, made up of Sunday lunches and a simple Christmas.
Michael instead came from a wealthy family, made up of solitary lunches, private tutor, fencing lessons and Christmas in the servants' company.
But for that reason their small family was united.
The man worked, often out of town, trying to be present at every major event, giving them the support that only a parent could give. Michael would do anything for them.

Camila snorted mentally, sitting on the huge wooden bench of the church where she spent all her Sundays. For her that was a real torture, she couldn't stand the people who went to that place.
His father was very keen to the image of the Cabello family, the whole neighborhood watched them with great respect, they were even ready to follow them as role models.
