Little Lion Man Part 4

   Summary: Phil, a lion drawing teenager meets Dan, a boy stuck in a trap.

When Phil gets to school the next morning everything seems odd, Dan hasn't said hello to him and he looks away every time Phil glances at him.

Somethings up.

He decides to talk to Dan about it in science seen as he has it second period so he heads off to his first lesson trying to figure out what's going on. After an agonising hour long wait Phil makes it to science ready to ask Dan what's up with him but upon first glance through the door Dan's was not there. At first he thinks he is just bunking lesson but as he walks further into the science classroom he sees him sat next to Chloe at the front of the room, something is really wrong, Dan hates Chloe. Or so it seemed before, but now her tongues in his ear and his hands around her waist. Phil feels sick.
Yesterday Dan was with him, it was perfect he felt loved and now he's with some hussy with her skirt practically to her neck. What did he do wrong? what's going on? Does Dan hate him? All Phil can do is stare at them his eyes wide with shock, that is until he is pulled out of his trance by the teacher calling his name in the register. He would trade in all of his horny daydreams, he'd trade in every girl and boy he's ever come across just for one more day with Dan because this is killing him and the only thing he needs is the only person who is ignoring him. Phil decides to try his best to ignore them and he does quite well until he breaks and looks up to see them out right snogging in a class full of students whilst sir is talking.

This is like a nightmare, with no way to wake up.

When Dan gets to school he has to fight all instinct to greet Phil and whenever Phil looks at him he just can't bear it to the point where he has to look away from him otherwise he will have a breakdown in front of everyone. When he gets into science he is dragged to sit with Chloe, when Phil arrives Dan's mind goes blank, he's stopped listening to the shit that Chloe is whispering into his ear, he feels like the spotlight is on him and he's being interrogated, he feels shit but he can't even begin to think what Phil is feeling right now. Forty five minutes into the lesson Chloe is at it again, forcefully pulling Dan towards her and attacking his mouth and face with her tongue, he feels horrible, he needs real kisses, he needs Phil, Dan reluctantly looks in Phil's direction and all he is met with is a blanked out expression but he can see it in his eyes that he's hurt. The guilt of everything just comes crashing down on him like a tonne of bricks. Why does protecting someone hurt so much?

Phil gets home and immediately runs upstairs. Once he makes it to his room he collapses onto his bed curls up into a ball and cries. He has lost all dignity but to be totally honest he doesn't care, he's just been completely used by Dan and now he's gone for someone prettier and more popular, he made Phil feel special and loved and then completely dumped him stealing his heart and not even giving a second glance back. How could someone do that! Phil sobs for about 20 minutes before he feels a headache coming on and thinks that it's best to stop, yes he still feels shit and yes he won't ever trust Dan again but he knows that he can't sit and cry all the time about it, it's unhealthy. He decides to text Dan just to see what was going on, Dan read them all and didn't reply like the true ass hole he really was.
The following weeks got easier for Phil as he learnt to move on but for Dan it just got harder as he kept falling for the boy he had ditched. The crying eventually stopped for Phil and the bags underneath his eyes from sleepless nights began to fade; for Dan crying became a second nature and all of his dreams were plagued by the hurt in Phil's beautiful innocent eyes. Phil felt like he was finally over the boy with brown hair and brown eyes but Dan had never been more in love with the boy with Raven black hair and eyes he could drown in. He's had enough of this, he needs Phil.
