Chrissie's divorce with Robert had just come through, she was in a new relationship with Andy so she was feeling rather happy with herself. She was finally rid of the man who humiliated her, and broke her heart although her new beau happens to be her ex-husbands brother. What could possibly go wrong?

Chrissie and Andy were prepared to go to the pub and finally reveal their relationship to Robert. They were both nervous, but excited to share their new adventure with everyone. They'd been seeing each other for a few weeks now, but no-one knew. Chrissie was wearing her usual outfit choice, a little colourful dress with her black knee high boots. Andy couldn't stop looking at her, staring at her with awe at how beautiful she looked, and thinking of how lucky he was that he'd finally found someone he really likes after the tragic death of Katie. He never thought he'd be able to find anyone that he truly wanted to spend his life with after Katie, but as soon as he laid eyes on Chrissie recently, he saw her in a new light, and knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. She felt the same, but was still very weary and unsure about everything after what happened with Robert.

"Come on Chrissie, It's not going to be that bad!"

Chrissie cowered in the doorway not sure if she actually wanted to go through with this. After all- she'd spent so long with Robert, and now she was about to share her new love with him, that just so happened to be his brother, surely this wasn't going to end well, and she knew it.

"Honestly, I'm fine. I- I'm just a bit nervous thats all..."

"Babe, we're both nervous, but we need to do this. I promise I will look after you okay. We're in this together now, and no matter what Robert says I will always be here for you. I won't let him get in the way of us"

"Andy, I know that. I'm sorry. I'm just so scared after everything that's happened...."

Andy held Chrissie and pulled her close to him. He moved the hair out of her face, and kissed her on the forehead. Chrissie smiled back up at him.

"Right, let's do this"

They grabbed each others hands, smiled at each other and walked into the pub. Stood on the inside of the doorway in the pub, everyone turned around to stare shocked as to what they saw. Robert was at the bar, his face dropped as soon as they walked in. He couldn't take this, so he downed his pint and left the pub, knocking past Andy as he walked out.

"Well.. That went well...." Andy looked at Chrissie with a big sarcastic smile on his face, as if he was proud that his brother really didn't seem impressed. The whole pub continued to stare at the pair at the back of the room.

"A pint and a large glass of Red please, Diane!" As Andy and Chrissie- still hand in hand walked over to the bar.
